Mornin' Weekenders!

Just a quick post for accountability. Feel free to add a QOTD.

great day yesterday - 1500 kcals! Woot woot! We'll try for around that again today. I'm off to my sunrise yoga class in a few minutes - first time I've been there since before plastic surgery. It's a gentle class, so it should be fine as long as I avoid any really intense stretches and twists. Memorial service this afternoon for a member of the organization I chair *****cently lost her husband. I didn't know him at all but know her somewhat. And - that's it. I got a lot done on my org's Web site yesterday - hope to finish that up today. A huge weight off my shoulders...

4 years out:

B: protein bar (no time for a big breakfast - and I don't like doing yoga on a full stomach - so I'm swapping B and MS), coffee with half & half

MS: protein pancakes with 1/3 C plain Greek yogurt, 1/2 a peach (cut up) and SF cinnamon syrup

L: the other half of the turkey/avocado sandwich that I had yesterday

AS: light yogurt and/or raw veggies with ranch Greek yogurt dip

D: salad with chicken breast and light balsamic vinaigrette

have a great day, all!

Good morning to everyone! Miss Lily and I have our first long walk in and will do 2 more later today. QOTD any exciting weekend plans? Mine are boring things like laundry, cleaning, giving the dog a bath and church today and tomorrow a trip home for the day to pick up supplies and spend some time with our youngest son. Got good news this week. Our oldest son who is working as a paralegal in Minneapolis got accepted to Mitchell Hamline law school and received word Wednesday that he had been awarded an unconditional full ride scholarship. Great news because he and his soon to be wife sure couldn't afford the $22,000 a semester that tuition costs. They are getting married the end of September as well after dating for 7 years. Accountability was perfect yesterday both food and stepwise and weight is 122.6. Here's the food for today B 1/2c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter L P3 pak D 4 oz grilled lamb chops and 3 slices of tomatoes S if needed hummus and 4 pretzels. Have a wonderful day full of smart and conscious choices everyone! Time for some coffee!

Good morning, everybody. My usual Saturday routine, up early and posting late. We are planning a family Lord of the Rings marathon today. My older son asked if we could have a Lord of The Rings/Hobbitt marathon and when I looked that up it was 20 hours. So, I think we are going to break it up and do Lord of the Rings and Hobbitt in separate weekends.

I am sure that there will be some (homemade) popcorn, but as long as it stays at that and doesn't branch into sweets, I am fine.

I ordered some sugar free jerky and meat sticks from Steve's Paleo Good's. I will report back on how they are.

Breakfast: Bratwurst

Snack: Light and fit

Lunch: Hamburger

Snack: Probably popcorn

Dinner: TBD

Have a great weekend, all!

Curious about the jerky and meat sticks. For some reason my usual Chomps and Biltong aren't tasting good to me. Not sure why but interested in anything new.

Chiming in for the jerkies.

I loooooove the people's choice sold on Amazon. I always get the limon con chile and the hot and spicy one. Sooooo good and no sugar.
