morning everyone,
I figure I should get this post done before I start getting busy at work again.

QOTD: my absolute favorite color is bright magenta/fuscia pink. It's not necessarily my best color to wear but I always gravitate toward it. My best colors to wear are Red and teal/turquoise/aqua...they just tend to look best on me and I love bright colors and bold patterns.

morning: 2 mugs of coffee w/4tbsp sf coffeemate
B: overnight oats: 1/2C oats, 1/4C L&F greek vanilla, sprinkle of cinnamon and handful of blueberries
L: leftover deconstructed stuffed peppers w/turkey italian sausage, kale, tomatoes and cauliflower rice
D: DH is cooking something tonight, I don't even remember what we have in the freezer lol
ES: Apple and 1tbsp PB

G'morning all,

Seems like we are doing a trial run for empty nesters. So weird that no kids are home. DH usually works from home two days a week, today being one of those days. We kinda looked at each other and giggled. He even said let's use these two weeks to recharge our batteries, he always says that when we are on vacation. So I guess these two weeks are our vacation from kids. Come to think of it we haven't gone on a vacation without kids since our 10th anniversary and that was 15 years ago. We shall see how it goes.

NSV while in Santa Barbara: I'm a solid size 6 now. While trying clothes on I kept pulling size 8 pants but they were big. I ended up buying a pair of white pants (size 6) with vertical very thin blue/purple lines. And a brown/rust color jumpsuit that looks adorabile. Love all the jumpsuits this season.

QOTD: RED, it has been my favorite color since I was a kid.

Accountability: Mini vacation is over.

My meals for the day:

• Coffee, coffee, and more coffee
• Costco chicken skewers
• TJ's turkey meatballs
• Yogurt or parm cheese

WTG on the Wardrobe!!!

Yay for size 6! You are so gorgeous. I'm still always surprised at the size I wear, even though it's been a while now that I've been holding steady in maintenance. I love being this size. It's a daily pleasure!

I love Santa Barbara! There used to be a little burger place kinda near the beach and across from a park. It had dirt parking and mostly outdoor seating. The burgers were amazing, I forgot the name of the place. They also have some great places to go riding (horses). Loved going to horse show in that area.

YASSSSSS I am obsessed with jumpsuits too LOL...I almost bought another one this weekend but instead I talked my sister into buying one, so I can just borrow it, haha...
Super weird being smaller than her for the first time in my life too. I'm pretty sure I am actually significantly smaller than she is now but neither of us really noticed it since she is so used to being the small one and I am used to being the big one---til we were trying on the same clothes in a fitting room...the XL's and size 12 pants/shorts were all very tight on her and I was in a Medium/size 6 in most of the things!
In my wildest dreams I NEVER imagined I'd ever be able to wear a size 6. the smallest I dared even DREAM was MAYBE a size 10 when I first thought about surgery... WHO AM I?!

That is such a great feeling. I can totally relate.

This gf that I travelled with is tall and willowy. Never had any size or weight problems. We chose the same pants to try on (Anthropologie). Size 8 looked big on me so I asked for size 6. She did the same but came out and said she will take size 8 because 6 was too tight on her thighs. You could have picked my jaw off the floor. Never would have thought I would be smaller than her.

I gotta show you the jumpsuit. It's so cute!
