I did one good thing this weekend and one really stupid thing. The good one is that I made it to the gym and had a lane to myself in the pool, it was heaven. I couldn't do as many laps as I would like but at least it was a start. Now for the stupid thing I had too much wine on Sunday and had a terrible night. You would think that I had learned my lesson, but not so much. I've decided to knock off the wine until I reach goal, and at that time I will re-evaluate and allow myself a glass once a month or so...then again maybe not. I know the extra calories have contributed to my lack of weight loss and small gain, so it seems foolish to keep doing the same thing and expecting a different result.
I am committing to working out 5 days a week, and logging my food daily. This is the minimum that I need to do to get to goal, and I'm sure not going to get there if I continue the way I have been. Measure and weigh everything, limit carbs and be consistent.
I'm trying to get an appointment with my counselor, she always helps me to see what I'm missing even if the truths aren't very palatable.
