Good Morning! Thanks for all of the soundtrack recommendations yesterday! I love rediscovering new things.
Yesterday was perfect! The helicopter ride was a blast :) Here are a few pics, in case you missed in on FB!
After the ride, we walked a few miles along the "cliff walk" which is a long walk right along the ocean with the mansions behind us. Then we walked into the town to find lunch, before walking back to the car. I think it was about 5+ very sweaty humid miles. I had to buy one of those electrolyte drinks at the 7-11 when we were done. There were 12 carbs in that tiny bottle, but it was worth every one, haha. Here are a few pics from along the cliff walk.
Accountability: Great! I had grilled shrimp for lunch and a protein shake for dinner, because I needed the protein and the hydration!
QOTD: Do you have a favorite fictional detective? I just started the new season of Veronica Mars and I'm so obsessed with her. She's my hands-down favorite! I also loved Trixie Belden books when I was a kid--I thought she was so much cooler than Nancy Drew. And loved watching Jessica Fletcher on Murder She Wrote! I think I love women/girl detectives! :)
Exercise: it's finally a normal temperature. I'm heading to the gym first thing for at least a 5K run and and will log some time on the the bike, too.
Beautiful pictures JB! Brisk air this morning in the cornfields of Illinois--56 when Lily and I started our morning walk. I actually pulled a jacket out because my arms were chilly. Accountability was spot on food and stepwise yesterday and weight is 122.2. Lily and I will do a short lunchtime walk and another longer walk after work. Here's the food plan B2/3c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter L 4 oz chicken salad D 4 or so ounces grilled shrimp S if needed hummus and 4 pretzels. Have a wonderful day full of smart and conscious choices everyone! Time for some coffee!

well- we lost out on the house which is crap because we went ABOVE asking and STILL someone offered more. this housing market in Chattanooga is bonkers!! very discouraging as I liked this one a lot. well - oh well-

JB, loved Trixie Belden and The Bobbsey Twins! I read all their books and all the Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys as well. Never hear about Trixie these days!! Currently, my favs are the books by Val McDermid's Tony Hill books, her Karen Pirie books and I'm a big fan of both John Connolly and Yrsa Siguroardottir. All three are on my "they release them in the UK 6 to 12 months before the US so I have to get them from book depository because I can't wait" list. Non mysteries but keepingnitnold school, you can guess I loved Pollyanna, along with Anne, Pippi and the Five Little Peppers along with the Ingalls and the Marches! Thanks for the reminder of my childhood friends, lol!
I am still tired and my head hurts, thinking my exhaustion might actually be me trying to fight something off. Giving myself one more day to kick it. Last night I went to bed as early as I could (8), was up at 930, 1130, 1215, 130 and finally got up at 245. But on the plus side, I'm on the office ready for my 6 am call!
