Gorgeous photos JB Good day to all you menuers.

Yesterday went well at the surgeons. He said I need not to worry about these little flair ups with the incision busting open and it looks clean and no sign of infection. I was just really hoping I would be healed and done by now its been since February.

QOTD: I can eat some hot stuff like Wings but I don't like if it makes my eyes water and tongue to burn.

Accountability is terrible no gym since last Tuesday and I probably ate a 1/4 cup of peanut butter last night. I did get in all my liquids and vitamins though.

I do plan to hit this gym tonight for a half hour of elliptical. It says I go 3 miles in a half hour distance wise. I just don't have anything to gauge if that is good or not. I do no my resting heart rate is around 64 and it is usually around 123 when I am on the machine and I do understand that is pretty good.

Glad they aren't too concerned about the incision, but how annoying to continue having it flare up. Hope it heals soon!

Good morning. Today seems like it may be a bit more mellow, which I like. I was so busy yesterday I didn't even get a chance to eat my lunch. It was warmed up and on my desk, but nope. We'll try again today. My nighttime accountability sucks lately and I need to get it together. If I don't I'm going to end up on next season's My 600lb Life.

QOTD: I'm much more into spice since surgery

My plan:

B: either 1 costco egg bite or roast beef and string cheese

L: BBQ chicken breast that is still leftover from yesterday

D: Steak and salad

S: homemade latte, cottage cheese and blueberries before the gym if I walk myself over to trader joes, which I will force myself to do because plain cottage cheese is boring.

E: spin

JB I should do the challenge. I NEED to start running again. I have a 10k in September (Yikes!) and haven't run in literally months. Even though I spin and do cardio every single day, it doesn't help with my running. I just don't know when I'd fit it in. Early morning, I guess. I can run around the school near my house.

As I told Kelly, I'm going to spend the month focused on increasing my time not my distance which is usually my goal. I feel like 2 miles is doable for that.

I'm so impressed that you keep doing these races. It's incredible that you are so athletic. I wish I was!

I think it's a good plan and 2 miles is definitely doable!

I haven't run really at all since I fell in November. I need to get back into it. I thought that maybe signing up for this race would be a good motivator. So far, no. It's a hard run too. It's a dodger stadium and the surrounding area which is HILLY! also, the friend I normally run with has been running a lot so I don't want to hold her back or force her to run slow.

Ugh, ok time to drag my fat ass out of bed and get my running shoes on in the morning. Thanks for the motivation

QOTD: OMG! I love spicy food! Some of which my grumble monster (stomach) doesn't like... Indian food is probably the spices, I tried a bunch of different curries a few were very hot but yummy!

B: Coffee and protein bar

L: Smoke Salmon w/egg wraps

D: not sure yet!

E: 5 miles (already have 2 miles in) train dogs!

Indian food always tastes great to me but I'm so unfamiliar with it that I never know what to order. Any good spicy recommendations?
