That donkey is MEEEEEE!... In an effort to catch the earlier train (#goals), I ran and took a huge spill on the pavement. I skinned and bruised both knees, my left elbow, and right palm. I looked like such an idiot splayed out in the middle of a busy street in Boston in front of 10,000,000 commuters. But in more positive news, I DID catch the train!

Accountability: Followed my menu perfectly until I came home and nursed my bruises with two glasses of wine. Weight stayed the same.

QOTD: Have you had a good "I told you so" moment recently? I definitely had a small moment of gloating yesterday when I heard that something I predicted would happen at my old job (and warned people to avoid) definitely happened and is a disaster. I mean, I didn't want it to happen which was why I warned them, but it did feel a little good to be right, since I wasn't the one who had to handle the consequences :/

I am not gong to post an MFP Menu today because it is too up in the air. I was given an on boarding schedule for this week and today doesn't build in time for lunch? Not sure what to expect for the day, so I plan to have some protein bars and Chomps Meat Sticks on hand, but if there is an opportunity to take a real break today, I will go grab something healthy at the cafe down stairs.

Exercise: Giving up any hope until the weekend.

Good morning, everybody!

Sorry to hear about your spill, JB - that sounds painful. Last night, I was trying to think of how many weeks that I had been back from vacation and realized that it has only been three days. And one of them was spent at a golf tournament. This week just feels endless. Most likely, I will be sleeping on the train in the way into work today.

My boys must have been up all night drinking all of the good Bai water flavors. I came downstairs this morning and all that was left was Bluberry and Pomegranate. I went to bed at 10:45 and saw neither child. And when I woke up at 5:00 I didn't see any children either. But all of the Peach and Watermelon were gone.

Its sort of like elves, except that instead of doing work, they drink all of the expensive flavored waters.

My oldest came home yesterday and announced that he had qualified for a parking pass. Marilyn reminded him that he doesn't have a license and only did two of his thirty two required driving hours this summer. Will we end up paying for the parking pass? Time will tell.

QOTD: This isn't recent, but I remember my friends telling me that I was nuts for predicting that Britney Spears would not age well.

Breakfast: Turkey meatballs and cottage cheese

Snack: Protein bar

Lunch: Pork

Snack: Jerky

Dinner: TBD

Have a great day, all!

YAY for catching your train, BOO for falling and getting beat up! If anyone asks you today about your injuries put on your best RBF and say "you should see the other girl..." Feel better JB

Accountability - meh! Shared half of a Mars bar chocolate bar with hubby, tasted good going down and then RH happened, serves me right! Today's goal: no added sugar/chocolate!

QOTD: too many to count actually but at work I have two coworkers, let's call them "T" & "C." T has been here for many years and is a lovely woman but one of the worst coworkers ever as she pushes all her work off on to other people. C is new and kept telling me she thought T was just the best ever. I warned C that T albeit a nice woman will end up pushing all her work onto C, C thought I was crazy and didn't believe me. T just recently quit and went to another workplace and C got pulled in to cover T's role until they hire. C found out that T left months and months of unfinished work & projects that weren't even touched. C came to me this week and was aghast at what she was left to do and that I was right all along about T. "Told ya so..."
