Yeah, protein bars for the win!

The goat comment was really more about Grim?s Mickey Ds/beef needs.

I am not a regular consumer of goat, but it?s a specialty in Monterey so I?ve had it when working there and also at events with Muslim friends to be polite. It?s not high on my list though (I?d say the same about camel). They are all red meats but let?s just say they were small bites, well chewed with sauce long before that was a post WLS requirement, lol. Maybe it helped set me up for success!

Oh, you will likely have no problems! I was in India for 3 weeks about 10 years ago, in the south and then the north (Rajastan). I found chicken everywhere, as well as lots of vegetarian options. I wasn't eating post WLS diet at the time, but I always found really delicious food including lots of protein. I don't eat red meat so I don't recall if there was beef, but for sure lots of chicken. The food was awesome.

oh good - I'm fine if there's chicken! (I can live without red meat - but it's hard to meet my protein requirements if I don't have SOMETHING. Chicken is just fine!)

Is goat similar to lamb?

Not really. It has a stronger gamier taste.

Good Day, All!

I went to yoga last night and the instructor was a bodybuilder! She was awesome!!

Accountability: good, not great but better than it has been.

QOTD: Right now I would be Sleepy, because I am tired this morning.

I have Open House tonight so my menu is all over the place. I will list the foods I have packed and will eat them in no particular order, I just wanted to make sure I had plenty of choices so I don't go looking for trouble.

Salad with turkey, hard-boiled egg, 1 serving of Wheat Thins (I can eat the entire box if I don't portion them out) and 1 oz. cheese, mini peppers with a laughing cow cheese wedge, cauliflower with hummus and a package of Buddig turkey

Have a great Friday-Eve!
