Are you a lefty? My son is left-handed and also sneezes when he looks at the sun. I have conducted a very informal poll on this topic, and have found that this seems to be unique to you sinister types. In fact I don't recall any righties saying that they sneeze when looking at the sun at all! I could be altogether wrong though -the left-handed connection could be obvious only due to the small size of the group I polled!

As far as I know, I am right handed. But, when I was child, Pediatrician's used to tell mother's to convert their children to right handed if they appeared naturally to be left handed. So, its possible that I was naturally left handed.

My oldest boy is left handed, and when he was young had auburn hair, so he was a red headed, left handed middle child.

You're the first right-handed person I have encountered who sneezes when he looks at the sun! It really does seem to be more of a left-handed trait, again, based upon my admittedly limited polling. Interesting!

well, first night alone and it was fine- I slept really well. I did wake up a few times one time for really bad acid reflux but I took my protonix and it got better. I do miss my DH and dogs though.

QOTD: I tend to also be a decision maker.

food plan today:

turkey veggies

chicken/salad

more chicken/ veggies

coffee

water

more coffee

Well I have no business booked for the future right now so my anxiety is high. I have lots of things in the works. So much that if it all comes through I wont be able to deliver it. So anxiety is high both way. I quit my great paying job (with a horrible boss) in June and started my own company. It is a bit of a roller coaster.

Accountability: the past two days have been great. I'm so impressed with myself. I haven't eaten anything that I didn't plan or deem to be clean. Now if I could just continue to drop 5+ pounds every two days, that would be great!

QOTD: depends on my mood and the time of day. Happy / Grumpy/ Sneezy haha

I have a networking lunch today but I've found a salad on the menu that should work. I'm going to a baby shower on Saturday at Maggianos which I know will be challenging. Hopefully they have a chicken dish and some vegetables. I know it will be pre-ordered and family style so I'll see how it goes.

Here is my plan - I'm not sure if I will get to second breakfast this morning, so that might turn into second dinner especially if dinner is on the early side.

I'm going to either spend 30 minutes on the treadmill or take my 12 year old for a bike ride / walk or work with him on lifting weights.

What is your business? I know you've mentioned traveling a lot - is it a consultancy type thing?

Yes. I've been a consultant for most of my career. I kept leaving consulting because I didn't like traveling 4+ days every week. But then in normal jobs I get bored after a year.

I started a pricing consulting company and am working with a partner at supply chain management consulting company. I'm doing pricing, inventory and lean process improvement work with small to medium sized businesses.

It is kind of great because I can consult, but I can control my travel schedule. It is great to be my own boss, but I just wish my boss paid more consistently (haha).
