Happy Fri-yay!

Its a rainy morning here in Chicagoland. But its Friday, so the rain is beautiful.

I've got a pretty full weekend of little tasks and odd jobs to get ready for Florida next week: haircut, some work for the charity that I am Treasurer of, getting dresses for my daughter at the Lilly Pulitzer event at Target tomorrow, cleaning, making appointments, etc.

One of Marilyn's tennis friends is having a party tomorrow. I've begged out of a couple of these events in a row, so I am committed to going. At the party there will be a lot of discussion of tennis. And friends from tennis. And memories from tennis. And the U.S. Open. Hopefully they will have meat.

Its great to see the pictures. But even greater to read the happiness in peoples posts. People can be so hard on themselves. I hope this gives everybody a chance to see how far they have really come.

I didn't want to repeat my before and after from two weeks ago, so the before was 2014, I think. Actually about 40 pounds lower than my all time high. After is from this May

QOTD: I chose RNY because the research that I saw showed it had a higher average weight loss than VSG, and our Bariatrics practice doesn't really push DS. I think that I knew that it had a better likelihood of helping with Diabetes but I'm not 100% sure about that. I'm happy with my choice but I'm not sure my reasoning was correct

Dinner: Steak
