Yes most likely. We'll probably end up cancelling trips to help him.

I'm sorry to hear this, Karen. The nerve of that donut, to have been calling your name at such a time! But congrats on only having 1/2. Before surgery I would have commandeered a half dozen! I hope that your boy feels better very soon, and that you are in the company of genuine, calm, kind, and compatible folks.

My Fitbit needs someone to walk it too and it really should be me.

The rains have come and it's hard to find the energy or motivation to want to walk in a downpour. I know not really an excuse as I could have used the dreadmill.

Accountability was not good. Why is it I can be fine all day and then something happens at night like a switch flips and I start grazing. "THE GRAZING LIGHT IS NOW ON, YOU ARE FREE TO MOVE AROUND THE CABIN." Seriously I need to find the off switch.

Work continues to be stressful, but that seems to be my life right now. I keep hoping things will get better soon!

I've been up since about 3:30 and finally just decided to go into work. I might as well take advantage of the quiet before everyone comes in.

Have a great day everyone!

It's been pouring and dark in Seattle, too. The sky is battleship grey and roiling with darker clouds. The only saving grace is that the leaves on the trees are beautifully turning. Also, it's boot s and sweater weather again, and I do love my wardrobe! But I do not have a good attitude about the dark and the wet...I'd better change my take on this or I'm going to have a sullen and depressing next 6 months or so!

Seasonal affective disorder is real! Get what daylight and fresh air you can but also consider a light to help!

I was trying to be funny, but it is a serious issue. I need to learn how to not graze, I know some people put a time limit like I won't eat after 8PM so maybe I can learn to do that.
