Good Morning! We had a great weekend too. Em's play went well and I can't put into words how much in her element she seemed to be. We had a small birthday celebration for her with a few of her friends yesterday since today is her birthday. Our "big" celebration is our combined trip later this month to the Warner bro's studio where we get to see the Gilmore Girls set all decked out for Christmas.

Accountability: Friday and Saturday night I had too many snacks but yesterday was good.

QOTD: I've always had issues with deep painful hiccups even pre-op but nothing new with those or runny nose post surgery.

TSS: 5 years 3 months

B: SF latte, Eggbeaters, 2 turkey sausage links, and 1/2 an orange

L: Albacore lettuce wraps and baby carrots

S: Chaffle and carbmaster yogurt

D: Shirataki noodles with Alfredo sauce and grilled chicken, 1/2 low carb lavash toasted with garlic, grated Parmesan and butter, sliced fruit, and 2 squares dark chocolate

Good morning, everybody!

I'm going with double blanket wrapping this morning - one around my legs and one around my shoulders. Not sure if the weather has turned colder or if its just me.

I really could have used an extra day of weekend to get caught up. I did most of my Christmas shopping yesterday, but not all, and I have a few other things that I didn't get done, plus I'm behind at work. If only I could have slipped in a little extra day while everyone else was asleep last night then I could be right on track this morning.

QOTD: I still get a runny nose, but not hiccups.

Breakfast: sausage

Snack: Protein bar

Lunch: chicken

Snack: jerky

Dinner: TBD

Here we are at another Monday! Miss Lily and I have our first long walk in and will do more later today. We've been doing great at getting 5 miles in every day plus the steps I get at work. Lily is definitely my motivation as she absolutely loves her walks. Accountability was spot in food and stepwise yesterday and weight is 120.2 today . QOTD yes I get a runny nose when I am full and if I keep eating I'll be miserable for certain. Here's the food plan for the day B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter L 3/4 c chili with cheese D 4 oz brat burger with cheese and no bun S sm apple with peanut butter. Have a wonderful day full of smart choices!

Hi all! Happy Monday!

I'm still in bed - it's just before 4 - and will go back to sleep. 4 am is simply not a civilized hour to be active anywhere but dreamland!

Yesterday I went to a pretty waterside seafood restaurant to fete the early December birthdays of my DIL, one of her sisters, and her mom. It was fun. I ordered a place of steamed clams mixed with steamed mussles. The clams here in the PNW are so dainty and so tiny that I'm quite sure the act of taking each one out of its shell consumes more calories than the clams actually contain. They were good but I was still hungry at the end.

I'm in the middle of third season of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. Enjoying it! Aside from being an excellently acted, interesting story, I love love love her clothing and beautiful accesories! Plus I think it's kinda cool that Tony Shaloub (who plays the main character's dad and who played the lead in Monk) shares my birthday, including the same year!

I looked for flavored Equal packets at my local QFC (a Kroger store) to no avail. I hope I find some somewhere, they sound good!

QOTD: I haven't experienced a runny nose related to eating. Hiccups are rare for me in general, and are not something I can clearly link to eating. I (thankfully) find it hard to overeat all but slider foods, cheese, and nuts. Nuts can easily hurt if I overindulge, plus they are wildly caloric. Pretty much always if I eat more than is wise, my stomach hurts.

First: mugs of tea plus one or two of coffee.

B: HB egg, tuna packet, Skinny Girl Buttermilk Ranch dressing,

L: ham, some black pepper cheese.

D: Turkey meatloaf, something green.
