I did exactly that in January; the floor is really well padded, you have a mat and when you're upside down, it's really only a fall of inches!

It's my pride that couldn't handle the fall...

QOTD: apple only. I do also have a fire tablet that I use for reading some and mahjong.

So I went to the TN support group last night and I liked it. very nice but they were mostly a quiet bunch. weighed this morning and up 4 pounds from last Wednesday--- so more water and maybe starting back on the miralax. feeling icky today bodywise so need to get in a better frame of mind. also made it to the gym at 6:30 this morning. using an app called volt by Gatorade, it is pretty interesting and I like I think but its very different to straight compound lifts - they first build up endurance which I'm lacking...

still debating the 5k next month but leaning more toward. won't be able to run the entire thing but know I can walk it for sure.

food plan today

egg whites, cauliflower, spinach and jimmy deal turkey sausage crumbles

premier protein in coffee

water

water

more coffee

peach tea from starbucks leftover from last night.

lunch is salad with cooked veggies and roasted chicken wings I cooked in IP

Glad you found a good support group. I am going to explore my WW group options and see which one feels like the best fit. The one I went to was good but 75 people standing room only didn't feel intimate enough to share... but maybe the good energy is enough. Either way I am excited to add that in-person support back in.

Mornin' All!

I have to take one of the cats in at 8:30 (just his routine annual physical) and then meet a couple of my fellow board members from one of my organizations at 9:45 for a meeting. Mah Jong all afternoon - then exercise tonight. I'll go to a yoga class for sure since none of the other yoga classes scheduled for this week really work with my schedule - although I'll do some kind of cardio as well since my body needs it right now. No interesting cardio classes today (boo), but I can always do the elliptical or stationary bike. I'll do one or the other before yoga...

I did my home sleep study last night for that research thing I'm in. I had two weeks to complete it, but I just wanted the thing over with. It was so much easier to do a home study than to do it in the sleep lab, where it's pretty much guaranteed that I'll hardly sleep at all. Fortunately, this was pretty much a normal sleep night for me, so they should get pretty good data. The other thing I have to do for this study is wear an activity tracker for the whole two weeks. I've worn a Fitbit forever, so this is nothing new - so now I"m just wearing two trackers for awhile...(my Fitbit and this research thing).

Accountability was great yesterday, but my weight was exactly the same this morning. Boo. But then, my sodium intake was really high yesterday. The deli turkey that I had with my salad for dinner was 800 mg sodium - and that was the reduced sodium variety. Yikes! That added with everything else I ate made for a high-sodium day - BUT...turkey breast is otherwise a decent choice - not many calories and lots of protein. I think I should just start weighing myself once or twice a week since I seem to be getting too obsessed and bothered by normal daily fluctuations.

QOTD: I like both. When I worked in IT, I had both on my desk since i had to be really "fluent" in both since we had people who used either/or. But I've bought PC laptops for home use for the last 10-15 years because of the cost (before that, I did have a couple of Macs). Our phones have always been Android.

4 years 8 months out:

B: protein cranberry muffin, L&F yogurt, coffee with half & half

MS: more coffee with half & half, protein bar

L: chocolate "mousse" (cottage cheese, vanilla protein powder, unsweetened cocoa powder, Splenda, and unsweetened cashew milk whipped in a blender) topped with 2 T light Cool Whip and raspberries

AS: Fit Frappe. And if needed, baby carrots with 2 T ranch Greek yogurt dip

D: chicken salad made with Greek yogurt instead of mayo, 2 pieces of Swedish crisp flatbread

I have lots of raw veggies in the fridge which I'll eat without the ranch Greek yogurt in case I'm wanting more food, but yesterday I was fine with the normal plan. YAY!!

have a great day, everyone!!

YIKES-- I just went to reorder my Fit Frappe on Amazon and it wasn't on Prime for the first time in 4 years! I ordered from Netrition instead and paid for shipping... :(

I wonder if they are more popular now ...odd that they would change so suddenly. That is frustrating I imagine

Lots of 3rd party sellers without Prime shipping and jacked up prices still there, but whoever was selling it through Prime seems to have stopped. Hopefully just temporary!

I'll order it from Netrition next - hopefully I can find enough stuff to order from there so I won't have to pay shipping. I got my last couple of bags (the non-mocha ones, which are cheaper on amazon) from coffeeam. They didn't have free shipping, even with a big order, so I just ordered enough stuff so that the shipping per item wasn't bad. Still, I wish we had more options. Maybe we can try to get more people hooked on the stuff so more places will start carrying it!!!
