Good morning. Love the cat pics and I wish I could have tacos today. But I think we are going to the beach, then yoga at 4 so no time to shop. And I refuse to go out to eat until after my WW weigh-in on Thursday. I'm on track to be back within Lifetime range (no pay). My weight this morning hasn't been seen since April 15 last year!

QOTD: I chew a lot of sugar free peppermint gum. And I know I am supposed to track the calories but I chew so actively I figure I use them all (LOL). I like to have some after a meal to get the taste out and freshen my mouth, but also at times to avoid mindless snacking.

TSS: 3 years, 10.5 months

B: Eggs, salsa, and coffee

L: Sliced chicken and laughing cow cheese wedge

D: Shrimp

S: yogurt and blueberries

That is awesome! I'm so happy that you are hitting goals and saying there. You have had every reason to make excuses and you aren't doing it--so inspirational :)

Good morning, everybody!

Theres a new animal in town and it may be just the pet for me.

Researchers involved in an eight year study observing the Olm Salamander noted that over the first seven years of the study, one particular Olm did nothing whatsoever. The Olms, which are native to Slovenia, Croatia and Bosnia-Hertzgovenia can live up to 100 years, eat only about once per decade, and move only about 10 meters over the course of their lives. Generally the Olms only move in order to mate, which occurs once every 12 and a half years (query whether married Olms endure even longer droughts.)

Oh JB, Olms may have the lives for us: breathtaking Adriatic vistas, simplified menu tracking, relaxed movement standards, periodic romantic adventures.

Now, I know that Miss Lily and Justice are great companions. And Kakesies' fluffy ass dog is as cute as can be. But what about when I travel? How do I deal with the boarding, the kennels, the hang dog looks, the hours of make up fetch.

Instead, before I left, I could just slap a couple of Olms on my kitchen counter. And when I returned, be it from a frolic in Europe or a challenging to explain to DW trip to ***** Cana, they would be right where I left them:

"Jim!!!"

"What. Up. Olmies!!!"

"When are you going on that vacation?"

"Dudes, I've been gone for 3 weeks - Are you guys hungry?"

"That's a good one boss, you know we ate in '17"

In all honesty though, I have to admit that the Olm's menu thread would kind of suck:

Have a great day, all!
