Good morning! Happy Wednesday y'all!

QOTD - Yes, I am active in several on facebook. I like the intermittent fasting one, as well as a Vegan/IF one. These help me stay accountable while talking to like minded people.

Breakfast - I splurged! Venti americano from SB, no cream or sugar since fasting.

Snack - none - Waiting till lunch

Lunch - NO idea. Had a dr appointment this morning (more on that below if anyone interested)

Dinner - Salad? Veggies? Today really is up in the air.

So I met with my dr. from surgeon's office, for my 6 week check up. My weight is at goal (149), my labs are where they need to be and overall, it was just the best visit ever. She is totally behind my plant based diet, as well as the intermittent fasting. She acknowledges that at 11 years out, I'm in a different ballgame. She did have some good recommendations for my diet as I would like to lose another 15-20 lbs and it's simply this. Drop carbs, increase my protein (plant based is fine). She told me she can't wait to see me in 6 months. I feel like today is a win for me, and reaffirms that while what I am doing isn't the norm, it's working so well for me.

I wish I had found IF 20 years ago. It would have saved me decades of dieting, and stress, and feelings of failure, and so much more.

I hope you ALL have a wonderful day.

QOTD- This is the only forum that I post on. Everyone shares so much more than just menus and I feel like I really know them as people. So many good memes and laughs. Jim I had to go look up an olm your post made me laugh so much.

Another overcast gray day in the PNW, hoping to see the sun again soon! Struggling getting through the day, but I will survive.

I found out there is still football! The XFL started last week, I missed the first game but Seattle has a team called the Dragons and their head coach is Jim Zorn one of my all time favorite Seahawks. So I have something to look forward to this weekend.

Happy Hump Day everyone! One day closer to the weekend.

I have to tell you that when I first read through your menu I read crackets as crickets....

I have seen some "protein snacks" that were made with crickets. Not something for me either.
