I hate it when that happens....and when it does, it's usually because of some strange Kcup...or that my nozzle is about to jam. Paperclips help resolve that!

My Keurig has been acting up a little for weeks--it still works just fine if I jiggle it and wait a few extra seconds for the water to heat, but the fear of it breaking during the pandemic and leaving me coffee-less, was more than I could take, so I went ahead and ordered a new one which will be delivered this weekend! Can you imagine an apocalypse with no coffee??

G'morning all,

Happy to hear everybody is healthy or on the mend.
Jen - sorry to hear about your fiends, I guess we will hear more and more about ppl we know with COVID. The good news is most people get better.

We are devising a plan for DS to exercise some. Jim, I'm sure you can relate to this. The fact of just staying in his room and using social distancing as an excuse is getting on DH's nerves. So he has a friend who teaches ju-jitsu or something like that. The guy is a big sensei in our area, I guess. I had heard of him but not really paid attention. Now with his studio closed DH approached him for private lessons with DS. Maybe outside on the cliff and no combat moves - no touching. Practically using him as a personal trainer without telling DS that's what it is. I have a feeling DS knows what our plan is and told DH he is not interested. But DH is one stubborn guy when he thinks he is right, so the battle of wills continues.

QOTD: my coworker is acting all offended because we told her she stunk and and had to take an extra bath.

My meals yesterday:

  • B: Protein coffee
  • L: Costco egg bites
  • S: moon cheese (the whole bag!!!)
  • D: 2 chicken skewers + sautéed spinach
  • E: 4.5 miles jog (slowly increasing my miles)

Happy hump day.

Marilyn spent a good part of yesterday devising a plan for the boys to transition into regular schedules. Goal is that they will rise by 9:00 this summer.

I am thinking that they should take summer classes, since there doesn't seem to be much chance of working. If the weather breaks, I have projects for them around the house.

QOTD- My coworker woke me at 4AM, then again at 5AM and at 6:20AM which was good I needed to get up. But he's pretty much deaf and doesn't realize how loud his meows are. I still love him as he's an old guy now so he can't help it.

Working from home again today but I do have the letter from the Department of Homeland Security Cyber Infrastructure that says I can go to work and buy gas, so far I haven't gone any where. I do need to venture to the grocery store within the next few days, my Greek yogurt is running low.

Yesterday I had this bout of extreme anxiety about this whole situation. I just felt like I am doomed, I know it's over reaction and most of us will get through this. So I need to just breathe and try to stop focusing on this. I did find out that one of the guys from work has it, he works outside so I haven't had any contact with him but now it's someone I know. But he's young and healthy and should come through this OK.

I'm trying to get into a routine, I get up and dressed and login. I can't say I've been very productive but I do read and respond to my emails.

Have a great day everyone! Thank God for Netflix!

Edited to say I got a delivery window from Amazon Fresh today, so I'm really relieved. We definitely won't starve. I just need to get out of the house for a walk today. I will try to go if it clears long enough. Stay safe everyone!
