Since we have had weight loss surgery, we are not the same as the average weigh****cher member. We don't need to use all of our points. There are days when my pouch feels almost like it did right after surgery.

On those days I wake up not feeling hungry and with no interest in food. Since no food is forbidden I don't crave anything or get excited about getting to eat something. Today it is just fuel and eating will be more of a chore than something I enjoy doing.

I read an article this morning about corona virus droplets staying in the air at hospitals and in enclosed spaces. Social distancing and staying home just seems like the smartest thing to do right now. Boring but safe.

I use all of my points. My loss is slower, but otherwise I feel starving and binge. I am on the green plan and yesterday I had 32 points. I lost another pound so for now it is working.

Yesterday I walked 13,258 steps, which gave me 25 activity points (my average lately). Walking helps me sleep better and helps my mental health. I am thankful for technology that helps me keep my head in the game.

I used to go to WW meetings in the 70's with my parents. I think the first time I officially joined was in 1984. I because a lifetime member in 1990.

8 pounds down and 22 to go. I know I will get back down to my goal!!

Some days I use all my points and the weekly points and the activity points. What I meant here is that when you are not hungry and have points left, you do not have to eat stuff you don't want to use up the points.

Weigh****cher's leaders are telling people that they have to use all their points and I don't agree with that.

First, I love that meme!!! I've seen so many about dogs being super happy and the cats can't wait for the humans to be gone. Thank his we have a dog. Haha!

Second, I know the extra pts are there for a reason. So that when you use them you don't feel like you totally screwed up and wrecked it, so might as well just binge because you are worthless and not capable of following the plan. See where my head goes? That's where I was yesterday after eating TWO pb cookies that I had baked thinking I'm safe because I don't like pb.

Here's my yesterday. Activity wise I clocked in more than 20,000 steps and got 23 pts.

Honestly, I think the no carb/low carb diet really ****** with my head. I noticed it the first time we had an AMAW challenge--I was berating myself and telling myself I was a failure if I had more than 6 carbs a day. From then on, I've found that my self-talk is so terrible--I am consistently telling myself I am a "failure" and "bad". It is really unhealthy and I know it.

I like WW because it is reteaching me what a typical balanced diet looks like, and there is a lot less need for that negative talk. I like that those rollover points are there to catch me, when I start to tell myself that I failed.

All the extra points are not even close to what some people eat in a day without even thinking about it I never feel bad about using mine.

when I started getting away from the carbs are bad mentality, I went on macros. you input your stuff and they told you how many grams of protein, carb, fats to eat in a day- what you choose is up to you within the parameters. and initially I was scared it was going to make me gain overnight a zillion pounds. yes I overall gained weight because I ate more than I should have but that is a different story. it has taken the last year or longer to have a better attitude with food and not beating myself up and binge when I eat too little. now I just eat the proper amounts and don't usually have overeating issues.
