Good morning everyone! Could this week go by any slower? I'm so ready for the weekend. No plans, just ready to have two days of doing nothing! Having 4 day work weeks sounds lovely! My job offers that during the summer months, but I found out about it too late last year to sign up and now this year we were told they didn't know if we'd be able to do it since our work volume has really started to pick up after the whole virus thing. So maybe next year! Lol. Accountability was ok yesterday....could have been better though! I shall try this again today.

QOTD: We were told during our morning meeting yesterday that we can continue working from home. Our manager told us that while this isn't permanent, she really fought for us to continue working from home since we are doing so well. Apparently another department in our building that works on the floor above us has already had to come back into the office and they are complaining that it's not fair when we don't have to come back in. I'm just grateful that we get to continue for the time being! Also I am still slowly losing and almost have the three pounds gone that I gained during vacation.

I belong to a private pool that is going to open on Saturday. It normally opens on Memorial Day, but they needed extra time to comply with the rules that the state of Ohio has in place for social distancing.

I am at the pool every day in summer that the weather allows. Exercising in water really works well for me. I normally would be at the indoor pool at the gym several days a week in the winter, but that has been closed.

I am still a bit leary of being at the pool, but hoping it works out OK and I feel safe there.

it should be OK as long as people are social distancing. I have a friend who's a retired MD who said the chlorine should kill the virus -- it's not all that strong. Plus you'll be outside. But having mobs of people around not paying attention to social distancing - THAT could be a problem....

That is why I am taking it one day at a time. Normally our pool is a quiet place, but sometimes people have birthday parties there and show up with carloads of extra kids. One day last summer it was a school group and they brought the kids in buses. The pool was packed that day and you could hardly find room to get around it walking.

If they keep it to members only this year it should be fine. If not, this member will be complaining loudly.

Good morning, everybody!

We are headed to visit friends for lunch. It will be nice to get out and visit somebody. They live about an hour forms in a northern suburb of Chicago. So I will have to change into something presentable.

The shortage of Bai Waters seems to have ended and Marilyn has been buying copious amounts to keep me hydrated.

I am not sure if they are opening the pools in our neighborhood.

QOTD: My older son is getting his requirements satisfied to start his summer job. My younger son finally finished his school year (it seemed like he had to go forever since the other two graduated this year). DD has recovered frothier scorpion bite.

Breakfast: protein bar

Lunch: Pork Roast

Snack: pudding

Dinner: Hello Fresh

Have a great day, all!
