Hello Gang! Hope everyone had a great day yesterday! I enjoyed my day off and totally relaxed while celebrating Grim's special day :) Pandemic Birthdays are really strange, though... My day was tough, food wise, which is frustrating because I have been so so so good for over a week. Our friend stopped by with her amazing Whoopie Pies that taste like Devil Dogs as a treat for him. And we ordered dinner out from our favorite fish place, so my total points for the day were way up. But I had been sticking to really low point days for while, so I had plenty to use up and still have 32 rollovers. I doubt I will see a loss on the scale this week but I hope it won't be a disaster!

Having a day off in the middle of the week was strange... It feels like it can't possibly be only Thursday!? How is that possible? Ugh. But I tried to keep up with work emails, so I hope today won't have too many surprises.

QOTD: Brownies--middle of the pan or edges? I am not very picky, haha, but I think I prefer the middle ones that are softer than the hard edge ones.

Morning! It's a rainy morning here in NC, but already 75 degrees. Yesterday it was hot and humid and felt like someone was breathing on you when you went outside. Today I finally, finally have my appointment with the "good" surgeon for my hip. I've been in pain since December and have seen three other surgeons with three different opinions. This guy is #2 in the nation for the type of issues I'm having though. I'm hoping he will put a plan in place that will get me closer to a resolution.

QOTD: The middle for sure. I don't want any of that extra chewiness, or crust to interfere with my gooey brownie consumption. I feel the same about cake.

  • Sweet Potato, Sausage, Egg
  • Pork Chop and Broccoli/Cauliflower

I went on a nice long walk yesterday morning and planned to do the same today, but it's pouring so I guess I will skip it.

Good morning everyone! This has been another rough week. I've been going to bed later than usual and waking up tired and groggy. Lacking the motivation to get through the work day. Sigh.....not sure what's going on. Keep telling myself just two more days....just two more days. Accountability was pretty decent yesterday. Stuck to plan for the most part except for some almonds for an evening snack.

QOTD: Middle of the pan for sure!

L: 2 oz low sodium turkey breast and a hard boiled egg

D: 4 oz salmon and veggies

S: L&F yogurt and fruit
