Good morning everyone and happy Friday! It was so nice to get a full others rest last night without a kitten climbing all over me. Lol. My resident cat is getting more used to her. I wouldn't say he loves or or that they are best friends....that may take a long time. Ha. But he tolerates her and only hisses or swats at her if she gets too close. Otherwise he could care less that she even exists. So last night was the first night that I left them alone together and did not wake up to a blood bath or a wrecked house. Yesterday afternoon when I came out of my home office I found them both asleep on the couch together. Granted they weren't snuggled up right beside each other but for them to even be on the same couch together is huge!

My accountability was pretty good yesterday. I did have a few Parmesan whisps for an afternoon snack and a rice cake with some peanut butter for an evening snack that wasn't on plan, but thankfully I ate really good the rest of the day so it didn't put me too much over my calorie limit.

QOTD: It's definitely interesting, but I'd have to pass. I'd be way too scared. Lol

Wow if the kitties are napping near by each other already, you are going to have some good friends, soon! I have had cats that hissed at each other for years after being introduced and never tolerated being in the same room together.

I agree with JB - they're making good progress!

I wish we could get another cat, but ours has medical issues and with any sort of stress can cause issues for her health. so we are a one cat household.

so thank goodness for Friday!! wahoo! I have one meeting today then I can do other work. leaving later this afternoon to post office and a bit of shopping. We are going to tN either tomm or sunday- DH has the second spinal injection on Monday that I have to be a DD for. I also might stop by the office and grab a few things there I've been missing- like my iced coffee brewer, reference manuals, etc. that is if my temp isn't up and they let me in...

QOTD: Its not that I don't care about space. I'm not scared to go but it wouldn't be my first choice. if there was a shopping outlet and thrift stores there though... different story.
