Good morning all. I guess it's still morning. Yesterday was very busy and I was nonstop on the go so didn't have a chance to get on here and post. Took the kitten for her first vet checkup and vaccinations yesterday morning. She weighs all of one pound and a few ounces. So she's too little to put on any heart worm preventative at this time, but the vet said she's a healthy little girl! So I'll be bringing her back in 3 weeks for more vaccinations. Then I got all my grocery shopping done, did some chores and then spent the remainder of the day visiting with my parents.

Accountability was horrible yesterday and I made some very poor food choices which made me feel like crap last night and I'm still recovering today. Why I keep doing this to myself I have no clue. Ugh today it's back on track.

Just realized I forgot the QOTD.....I must really be out of it today!

QOTD: I too love dreaming about loved ones who have passed away. I don't dream about them often, but when I do I wake up feeling happy and at peace. Sometimes I'll even dream about my childhood or that I'm back in school. Those always make me happy too except for those in which I'm about to take a test that I did not study for! Lol

those school/test dreams seem to be pretty common. I think they're anxiety-based. I've had dreams that I had to take a test for a class I'd forgotten I'd signed up for (so I never went to class), dreams that I had to take a test but it was written in some foreign language, lots of dreams that I missed a test - etc etc etc. I haven't take a class for credit in close to 30 years, but I STILL have bad test dreams!!

Hey Liz,

The swordfish kabob sounds amazing!! I often get salmon kabob over salad instead of rice. We have at least 4 kabob places within a short walking distance.

Good morning,

it's a cool gray day here in California, and I've done a yoga class and taken a walk. So exercise, checkmark! Not a lot more on my agenda today until a meeting this afternoon for grants. I think I'll work on my reading.

QOTD: no question for me. My youngest son passed away on Christmas Eve 2005 and on the nights that I dream of him I wake up in the morning with a smile on my face. Though I do find it odd that generally when I dream about him, it's usually about him at the ages of six or eight, and he was 18 when he passed, it always brings joy to my heart to see him. I do not feel like his presence is with me anymore, like I did the first five years. So any opportunity to see his face is wonderful.

Menu

B: coffee and 1/2 PP shake

Lunch: shrimp and ?

Dinner: think we are going out after the meeting so probably grilled shrimp tacos, hold the tortilla.

Peace, everyone!

I wonder if people in heaven get to pick the age that they want to be. I expected my father would be a young boy again, so I was surprised when he came back to me at the same age that he died. I believe that was the only time I saw him in a dream. My mother got sick a few days later and lived about five more months after that. I like to believe that they are reunited and happy together now.

I usually see my daughter as she was in her last few years but she had been an adult for a while. She also passed away in 2005 at the age of 32.
