What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu?

Morning all! Happy Friday! Ok, I was ahead of myself yesterday... TODAY is the last day of the month. And tomorrow starts my birthday month (see QOTD, below, haha)!!!!

I didn't end up going to the wine & cheese thing last night. We mutually agreed that it wasn't worth taking the risk, and my mom ended up going to get a COVID test yesterday to give herself some piece of mind. She's supposed to get the results today. Anyway, I made a menu plan on the fly, and stuck to my goals--ended the day with 8064 steps and 23 points.

Anyone have fun weekend plans? I don't. It feels like it will be a great beach weekend, but I don't know if I will want to brave the trip. I might see if a friend wants to try to hit a beach really early tomorrow before it gets too crowded.

I didn't have any great pics to share this week, except that I was driving last weekend and had to snap a pic of my GPS when I was at a stoplight. Had to laugh that it was directing me towards a Reeces's... ;)

Good morning everyone.

it promises to be a long day. I haven't slept very much and had nightmares when I did. Mostly about having to have brain surgery...like what the heck? It really bothered me...the devils in the details.

I also have been having issues with my legs cramping...especially my left one. It really hurts sometimes and is achy all the time. Also..lol...I had the gates open up again this morning on my back. At least I was prepared this time. I'm really really tired and thought sleep would be better by now. Still hopeful it'll improve but dismayed all the same.

food is going to be off again today. My mom wants Thai and I'll probably have chicken satay but I know I'll sample what she gets as they have big portions and yummy food.

pics are of Opal and a pic I found on a FB group. I thought my cats were weird !

Hopefully this is just a small setback and you'll feel better soon. You are still early in recovery!

Good morning all and happy Friday! Made it through my first successful day working from the beach and boy let me tell you it was soooo hard! I basically wanted to be doing anything but working. Instead I was stuck inside the RV in front of my computer while the family was enjoying the beach. It didn't rain as much as what the weather predicted so that made working even harder. It would have been a lot easier if it had been gloomy all day. My accountability wasn't the greatest yesterday. Ended up having pizza for dinner. It was thin crust and I only had one slice, but I still feel guilty about it.

B: Coffee, Coffee, Coffee and scrambled eggs

L: leftover fish or steak that I still haven't finished

D: going out for crab legs

S: L&F Greek yogurt and fruit or some raw baby carrots with ranch dip

Below is a pic of the rainbow we had yesterday evening after the rain. It was actually a double rainbow, but you can't really see the other one in the picture.

You just have to make it through today and the. You can enjoy the fun...and you'll be glad you didn't have all the back and forth driving!

funny QOTD: a, e, h, L (I think this means hoarder tendencies and control issues lol)

ok so I'm driving to TN after work today and I'm hoping my day goes pretty well- this week has been stressful. DH is taking zooey to the vet this morning up there. she apparently has a second butthole (ruptured a gland) poor girl.

food plan:

chicken, egg whites, protein powder, spinach shake?, regular shake

not sure on dinner if I will make it when I get there or what.

pics are of our little house frog georgina. she showed up a few months ago, lives in the drain pipe but comes out to the patio every night for a bug buffet.

second pic is zooey and bell hinting for a mole in the yard.. yes we have another one- they have 'found' 2 so far.
