I bought at heated mattress pad for my bed last winter. It made a huge difference in my cold/not cold.

Mornin' All!

I have to run the software for a large-ish Zoom lecture for my senior adult education organization later this morning. Not sure how I got roped into this, but...I did. I'm nervous. I'm sure I won't have trouble with the software, but I'm worried my internet connection will be flaky or something. DH was supposed to have a virtual meeting with a student at some point during the lecture, but he's going to change it to a phone meeting so we're both not using bandwidth-hugging software at the same time. Oh well - if there are problems, those things just happen when you're dealing with computers and internet, right? These are seniors and (hopefully) very forgiving!

I was hoping to recover yesterday from a horrible eating day on Tuesday, but I didn't. I did better for sure - but still over my range. I had a dream last night that I was at the dentist's office, and the staff was talking to me about weight loss programs (the dentist's office???). I was dumbfounded and insisted I was normal weight (although regardless, I was feeling fat while I was protesting their suggestion), but they kept on. I guess my overindulgence the last couple of days was really bothering me. Anyway, I WILL do better today.

QOTD: I have a couple of nightshirts (that look like tunic-length t-shirts), but my favorite is one I bought at the Kent State bookstore 35 years ago. I wasn't able to wear it for about 20 years because I'd gotten too heavy, but I never threw it out or gave it away because I loved it. I was so happy the day I could finally wear it again! Anyway, that's all I wear when it's warm (well that, plus underwear). In the winter, I sometimes wear sweat pants with it if I'm cold. I have some 4x nightshirts that I wore when I was SMO, but I really should get rid of them. I like wearing oversized things sometimes, but those are just ridiculous.

L: 1/2 C of the vegetable curry I made last night topped with 2 T plain Greek yogurt, 2-3 oz of sliced turkey

AS: L&F yogurt with raspberries, light English muffin with light cream cheese

D: cup of carrot soup with 2 T plain Greek yogurt, 2-3 oz of sliced turkey

I ate 4 C of sugar free Jello yesterday in an attempt to avoid binging on (much) worse things, so I'm tempted not to make it today - although on the other hand, it's pretty safe if I end up losing control again. Although I will NOT lose control today!

Good morning. The pictures of San Francisco were so sad yesterday. I really asked that September behave itself. 2020 has been a lot. Hoping our continued cooler weather helps drive down the fire and get people back to the their homes. Both residents and firefighters.

I've got my coffee going and starting to work through email. Hoping for another busy, productive, profitable day.

QOTD: I sleep in a "wife beater" (I hate that term) style tank top, must be snug, and my U.P.'s. I must have 15 tops. In the winter I might add a light long sleeved top, but my legs need freedom.

Menu:

B: coffee and 1/2 PP shake, then hardboiled egg and 1/4 c cottage cheese later.

L: pork rib, and bit of salad

D: sea bass with a soy sauce and edamame

Good morning, everybody!

I'm having some mystery OH problems this morning. First my paragraph dropped way down, and then when I re-typed it and deleted the text that dropped, it deleted everything. So this is take three.

Marilyn gets home tonight. I think that we will go to Gibson's for steak. I have reached the end of my cooking ability after theses three nights, LOL. Maybe we will bring a dessert home for Marilyn as a treat when she returns from the airport. They have these enormous cakes - I think I have a picture in my photos.

QOTD: nothing too exciting. Just a clean T-shirt and boxer briefs. Sweatpants if its really cold.

Breakfast: egg sandwhich

Snack: protein bar

Lunch: leftover Hello Fresh?

Dinner: Steak

I think you are right - they seem to have way more control around sweet stuff. But they have the beer, nuts, cheezits issues!
