In our last house (1224 sqft), I did have a small gym in our back room, treadmill, punching bag, weight bench, free weights, etc. Unfortunately when we moved to an 800 sqft condo, I had to get rid of most of that stuff. We chose this community because it has a small gym and pool, both of which were closed in March. Oh well...

Janet, I am so sorry you are going through this. You were taking such good care of yourself and your wife. I hope that things will improve. In the meantime have you thought about bringing some equipment into your home? My daughter has a portable exercise bike and elliptical in her apartment that work pretty well:
