Good morning all.

got a little bit of sleep last night. Lots and lots of pain in my upper legs and back. Speaking of which, they denied the injection for my lumbar region. I don't know what the next step will be. I'm sure I'll be hearing from the pain management clinic today as I found out on the Medicaid providers patient portal. I just don't know what to do anymore.

my mom is doing ok. I'm still very worried about her though. At least she was able to get some sleep last night.

qotd: my favorite is my moms least favorite so I don't use them often(rosemary and thyme) but my most used spice is a garlic pepper I found that doesn't have salt in the mixture. I found it at the dollar general store and it's really good. I also love cloves.

b: egg, udi toast, plant based butter and of course coffee

I'll add the rest In on a reply later.

One year my brother came from out of town and bought a brine mix. He wanted my sister, who was doing the turkey, to use that mix. She looked at the ingredients and said, "No, I won't use this because I hate rosemary.

My sister-in-law was in the next room and heard, "I hate rosemary". She thought they were talking about her because her name is Rosemary.

Mornin'!

I have Mah Jongg from 10:00-noon today (I kinda wish we'd go back to playing this once a week instead of twice. I'm much busier now than I was in the summer, but I hate to even broach this topic....). One of the cats goes in at 2:40 for a urine collection - I suspect they may have to keep him there for a few hours in order to get it, but that's fine. I also need to do a grocery store run - preferably before Mah Jongg - so that's my day. Hopefully I can squeeze in some outdoor exercise today, too, since we have only one more day before it turns cold. Boo.

Accountability was OK yesterday - not great but OK - but since I biked for 12 miles, I'm not worried about it. I'm 1/2 lb heavier than I was yesterday morning (which was a HUGE drop from where I'd been), but I'm still the lowest I've been since last December, so I'm happy (I record my weight on Wednesdays, so Wednesdays are a bigger deal than other days)

QOTD: I do a fair amount of cooking, whi*****ludes a lot of internationally-inspired dishes, so I use a lot of different herbs/spices - so no one or two really stand out - although we do seem to go through a lot of cinnamon, so maybe that.

TSS: 5y4m

B: I think just plain Greek yogurt with strawberry compote. Coffee with half & half

MS: protein shake

L: turkey breast slices with 1/4 C sweet potato casserole

AS: L&F yogurt with raspberries. Or maybe protein Jello.

D: turkey breast slices with eggplant tagine

Have a great day, everyone!!

I am assuming no results from the covid test yet? I wish they would come back faster so people would be less inclined to break quarantine.

Cape May NJ is fantastic. On to Rehoboth Beach DE in 1/2 hour via ferry.

QOTD: Cinnamon, salt, basil...

TSS: 4 years, 6 months

B: Coffee!!! Eggs and cottage cheese

L: Probably none

D: out somewhere - probably fish

S: Almonds or/or nut thins and cottage cheese

Great News. I was worried for you. You have been so diligent with your quarantine if you had contracted it I had no hope for the rest of us. Glad all is well .
