What's on your Tuesday Menu?
it seems like a lot of those meatless meat products have gotten better the last few years. I've always liked the vegan sausage products since that sausage-y taste comes from the spices used rather than the meat - but lately, even the fake beef products taste pretty good. We love Beyond Burgers (and Impossible Burgers), for example.

Truly, products have come SO far. And thank you! I try to take foods that I always loved, and just veganize them. Some definitely come out better than others. I just recently learned to make tofu "egg" patties and I feel like I'm able to have a McDonald's breakfast sandwich again. Black salt was a game changer for me. I was a vegetarian in my 20s and it was probably one of the unhealthiest times of my life, because... I didn't know what I know now about nutrition, and eating a diverse amount of foods. Gardein is good, I like their fishless filets SO much. It's like eating a beer battered fish filet without the fishy taste. I will say, my hubs is absolutely a steak guy, but even he will admit he likes meatless meals the way I make them so it can't be too bad!
