Good Morning! How is it only Wednesday?!? I was a couch sleeper last night as well after I had an issue with heartburn and maybe RH... it was odd and stress related I think. I didn't even get up to do my workout this morning since I felt like my mind needed extra sleep.

Accountability: Snacks after I got woken up with the RH sweats.

QOTD: Not yet.

TSS: 6 years, 2 months

B: SF latte, Eggbeaters, turkey sausage links and apple slices

L: Tri tip, side salad, and a plum

S: Chicken stick, string cheese, and Carbmaster cottage cheese

D: BBQ tri tip, cauliflower with cheese sauce, low carb pumpkin cheesecake, sliced orange/ banana, and 2 squares dark chocolate

ES: Two good yogurt with 1/4 cup fiber cereal

E: Rest day

V/W: On track

Totals: Cals: 1447 Protein:123 Carbs:83 Fat:71

G'morning everybody!

Guys, I'm dumbfounded and I need some input. Maybe it was lost in translation or maybe I didn't present it the right way. Every year for thanksgiving we go to friends' home that are like family. They invite a lot of people like us who don't have huge families and it's a lot of fun. There are people of all ages, including his dad who is in his eighties. The host and DH have been friends since jr high. So I sent this text verbatim : "Hey guys! So about Thanksgiving...seems like the most prudent way is to have thanksgiving just with the immediate family. We are sorry we will miss seeing you guys, again. But especially with our kids coming from outside and flying, we are willing to chance it but won't risk exposing anybody to them. Let's hope 2021 is better and we can get together for many meals in the future." The response was a very short fine, thanks! Was I rude? I guess I expected a more effusive response not just a short OK.

QOTD: ugh, not yet...but I should.

Accountability: why oh why do I think I can be a normal person with food? Bought pumpkin tortilla chips at TJ thinking I'll just have a couple to try them, they look fun! Open them in the car and finished half the bag!

My meals yesterday:

  • D:taco night with jicama wraps for me
  • E: 5 miles jog

I don't see anything rude there, Sheila! Are they covid deniers? Maybe not following the rules? This is a huge generalization but it seems people that are not being cautious get very annoyed at people that are but it seems like people that are being cautious are more "you do you but I'm staying away from you". (Of course I haven't personally encountered any of the Karen's tang mask shame, yell at others, etc and I know they are there to). I definitely would have responded to your note being sorry we wouldn't be able to get together, at a minimum.
