QOTD: I am somewhat handy, not major power tool handy.... last thing I did was hang my own CO2 detectors.

Yesterday I had a low blood sugar/dumping episode- added bonus of dizziness and sweats I consider dumping. I was panicking remembering last time I passed out cold... I ate all the food... then you stop shaking etc... and just feel kinda sick from eating all the food. Ugh. I stopped at Sonic for a Diet cherry limeade which I am assuming wasn't diet. Boo. I did ask the car hop if it was diet, she said yes, but she wasn't the one who made it.

food:
- green smoothie
- eggs and English muffin
- zucchini meat sauce casserole
- Tex mex chicken burger, salad
- S: yogurt, protein

Ex: yoga online

I have yet to have a dumping episode. I am sorry you went through that, so scary. My biggest fear is asking for a diet beverage and getting regular.

Oh no! Hope you feel better today.

I swear liquid sugar is way more evil than sugar in other forms. I had an accidental issue with a drink from Starbucks once and I was as close to death as I ever want to get again.

I agree. I try to avoid at all costs, but oddly for someone with really severe RH, I react less to liquid sugar than solid "food." Odd.

I am so afraid of that happening that I almost never get any beverages besides water or coffee out.

I was at a Coffee Bean once and ordered a SF Vanilla latte. I watched the barista make it and knew it wasn't SF. I told her I thought she used the regular powder and she said no. I told her I was diabetic (I'm not and never was) and told her if I drank it and got sick, I'd come back to haunt her. Would it have been so difficult for her to just remake it since I questioned it? I took it and gave it to my secretary.

That's awful! At least you had the heads up and could avoid it! I was dying and it took me more than a minute to figure out what had happened.

When Dr Atkins published his first book, back in 1972, he advised us to carry a vial of glucose test strips and test a sugarfree drink before we drank it. It was much harder to find sugarfree products back then.

Good morning all!

it's a winter wonderland/hell outside. We have a lot of ice and a bit of snow. Schools are closing for today. The ice is what I hate.

I'm sore as heck but that's sounds like a broken record. Mentally I'm doing quite a bit better. Not much to do today. I sold some lots of old things I've made. I needed a little money for Christmas shopping. Will mail them all out Friday.

qotd: not really handy...but I used to be a good helper to those that are. Now with my back no one will let me help hahaha

b: oatmeal, blueberries and coffee

s: popcorn, strawberries with coconut yogurt and maybe a tbs of peanut butter.
