Such amazing pictures. I love to get on a plane in Cleveland when they are having trouble keeping the runways clear of snow and then be in warm, sunny Florida in an hour or so. It is so cute that you are decorating for Mike. I sometimes go on organizing frenzies with my friend, Gary's office, clothes, and pantry. Single men do need a woman's touch in their homes.

I will just sit there and think, why doesn't he know that he needs a mirror there? How can he just put the laundry in the basket and never move it to the drawers and closet? Why go through the frustration of looking for a paper, when you can have them neatly filed and at your fingertips?

But I know our brains work differently. He appreciates the help, and does make the effort to do things my way.

Exactly how it is with Mike! I have to admit that DH had a good fashion and decorating sense though he couldn't see clutter for the life of him, so this is new for me.

My husband wanted to save everything in case he needed it someday. Gary is the same way. You can't organize clutter. You have to get rid of it. And I know I can't throw away stuff that someone thinks is valuable. They have to make that decision on their own. A lot of times I just look the other way.

My dad was very conscious of his look. Very rarely did he wear jeans always Khakis and a Polo and when he had to suit up it was remarkable. He never let us wear sweat pants out unless we were going to the gym. I love that he instilled that in me. He rubbed off on DH and when he passed his suites were handed down to him. He actually gets excited to suit up and he can wear a suit in my Dads memory.

Those pictures are fantastic. The last time we were at the beach DH and I held hand and ran down the beach and hurried up and took a picture of our foot prints in the sand. I had it made into a canvas at Michaels and have it in my hallway. I love that photo.

Good morning all! Quick post before I get started with work. Yesterday was busy and hectic so I'm hoping today will be a little calmer since I'm already drained. Doubtful though. Accountability was decent yesterday so hopefully today will be even better.
