You are so cute!!! My granddaughter calls palm trees "California trees" because they didn't have any in Nevada and that's how she knew she was getting to MP's house. She started seeing California trees. The palms in the sunset are just gorgeous!

So good that you enjoyed your staycation. You needed a break from the stress. I am so impressed that your tree is up. I think I am putting mine up in my place when I get back on Sunday. Mike doesn't do ANY decorating for Christmas which I find rather depressing. I love the lights!

Today is a beach day, then out for dinner. The weather is finally nice and not too muggy. This is a picture of the sunset out the back last night after several days of wind and rain from Eta:

QOTD: Nope - my knees would break...

TSS: 4 years, 7.5 months

B: Coffee!!! Steel cut oats with PB2

L: chicken salad made with non-fat yogurt and cottage cheese

D: out - fish?

S: cheesecake/strawberry yogurt pie

Good morning everyone! It's a blustery day in the PNW. I slept in until 2:44 this morning. I do not know how to reset my body!!

I'm feeling a little sad today. I had a good cry this morning. I don't think my son is coming home for Thanksgiving due to covid. Since he is in the Coast Guard and lives in such tight quarters with lots of people, it's probably for the best. He assured me that he won't be alone and that no one is going home. There are lots of restrictions on travel. I have just not been with him for a holiday. At least I will have my daughter and son in law and our dogs. My daughter and I will be making and delivering dinners to some of my seniors that will be alone. We are going to make the best of it.

QOTD- nope..

Accountability- On track yesterday. painted my bedroom. I feel like I have literally painted every room in my house since Covid hit. I also painted the kitchen at my work!

Food for today-

Cottage cheese and eggs

Real Good stuffed chicken breast

Maybe fish?

Our tree, I am really enjoying it.
