Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday!

Put me on the cancelled thanksgiving plans list. Sad but it's the right thing. We're orange here in my county and the area where my sister lives has issued hospital capacity warnings, moving toward curfews, etc. we'll celebrate together at some point when we're not running the risk of killing each other as the worst case.

QOTD - no, it's really just all you amazing people and my GP.

i have a late Pilates class tonight, I usually do a 630 and 745 class but was late signing up so didn't get into my 630.

menu today is

carbmaster cottage cheese plus .8 oz square of cheddar

4 oz ever roast chicken

feta and fig chicken sausage

l&f greek

coffee yogurt

coffee plus half and half x 3

have a fantastic day!

Good morning! A bit of a rough night sleep last night. The raccoons came to have a buffet from our outdoor dog food bin. I can barely open this bin, but those little rascals manage to get their tiny paws to unseal that vacuum lock and pop off the lid. My husband went out at 4 am and put the bungie cord on it. They haven't figured out how to remove that yet. And if they do, I will be shocked, because I absolutely cannot get it undone he has it so tight and I would have to feed the dogs my dinner if he wasn't around to open the bin! I also got my hormone implant done yesterday. First one since before surgery. Turns out it hurts a bit more with less padding to pu**** in. Just like a deep bruise, but it seems I want to sleep on my left side more than I thought I did and I had to keep readjusting. Still, totally worth it.

QOTD: This by far is the best place I found. I tried a facebook group, but honestly, those people are crazy. My best friend is my "safe zone". We have a deal that I can complain and whine about anything related to it and she won't judge, even though I chose to do this to myself. I rarely complain, but in the weeks of awful nausea, I did a bit then. A couple other friends and I talk about it openly, but not in detail. My husband is supportive, even if he never really understood why I felt I needed to do it. I've always said he's loved me big and little, size was never a part of our relationship. And though he thinks I am too thin right now, he's 100 % supportive of the choices I'm making (and letting me steal whatever I want off his plate when I don't want enough to order my own, or just need a bit of a taste of something. Like a french fry or two, or his brownie.) Also, my doctor won't discuss calories. Just protein. But like everyone, I find that by tracking it all, I am forced to have good decisions if I force myself to get those 60 grams of protein in. Not a lot of room for much else. I'm averaging 900 or so calories a day now, and hitting 60 grams plus daily. My weight has been mostly stable now for 8 weeks. This seems to be working for me.

Menu:

B: Chompies cinnamon raisin bread with 1 tbsp snickerdoodle cookie hummus

S: hb egg and 1/4 C cottage cheese

D: Smoked pumpkin soup with bacon lardons and toasted pepitas

Tonight we are making Chrissy's pumpkin cheesecake as test run for our Christmas dinner. Going to make it after our dinner, and then serve it tomorrow!

Peace Everyone!

My weight stayed the same from 12 months to 18 months, then quickly dropped another 14 pounds.

The FB groups for WLS are just dangerous. The advice on those should be criminal! Lots of people telling each other that ice cream is okay because its a liquid, etc... Yikes!

And don't you dare say a thing like, that's a bad choice. They will rip your face off, stomp on it and attack you as a hater.

Can you feel the love?

I was on two for a little while and they were so bad. If FB ever did anything about medical misinformation they would be gone!
