What's on your Monday Menu?

Welcome back to Monday, Menu Pals! I would love to have a French Fry board! Mmm! I have only eaten out ONCE since February (and the 5 times we've gotten take out, was wither tacos or lobster) so haven't had a fry the whole time! I could definitely fall into that board face first, lol.

I hope you all had a good weekend! Mine was really nice. Really quiet and chill, but that was just what the doctor ordered :) I spent most of the weekend curled up on the couch watching Hallmark Christmas movies. The best one was about a time traveler from 1903. God it was stupid, but I loved it. Did anyone else see that one? Ha, I love these movies so much.

We also made the Thanksgiving turkey yesterday! We bought a 12 pound turkey a few weeks ago thinking my parents were coming, but now it's just us, and Grim doesn't like turkey, so... it's up to me to consume a 12 pound turkey! I got this, haha. But anyway, we made it up early so that I can start enjoying it all week. It came out great - nice and juicy :)

QOTD: Do have an exercise routine that is the same time every day? Since quarantine, I have gotten better about finding time for exercise everyday without the excuse of running out of time, but I am still not great about having a routine that is the same every day. I think I should probably commit to an hour between when I write the thread and when I start work at 7am but I don't always feel energized to be so productive that early! I'm considering changing my hours to 8 - 4 to give me more time in the morning.

I stuck to my menu and exercise well all weekend, except for adding a half bag of popcorn on Saturday night. I am down another 1/2 pound, so the progress remains slow but steady.

Good morning and happy Monday! I have a two day week this week. I don't know what I'm going to do with 5 days off at home.

saturday, I took a drive down to thr Callan Paint Mines, it's about 2 hours from me and I thought it would be a good place to practice some photography. It was so cold though but gorgeous.

qotd - I love working out in the morning, but I also love my Pilates classes and the favorite ones are late. When I do a 2, I get home at 9 and then it's hard to wind down.

I was at Whole Foods and found a bag of keto gingerbread cheesecake cookies. They were awful, do not recommend. My friend that is staying with me is allergic to nuts but when she leaves next week I'm going to see if I can take the keto spice cake recipe I loved and make cookies out of it.

menu today is

Coffee & half and half x 3

carb master cottage cheese

burger patty

light and fit greek

Pb toast

excercise today is 25 minutes on the rower and maybe an elliptical studio class

have a great day everyone

I found a gingerbread ONE protein bar at the grocery and it has satisfied my Gingerbread needs. I used it as a snack not a meal. You may want to look for it if you looking for something seasonal.

I don't love the ONE bars, I have found some others that are seasonal that are ok like the Think bars but am looking forward to the baking attempt!

Good morning everybody!

OK guys, I blew it. We went to lunch, did a little window shopping, inquired about Thanksgiving pies, and headed to Starbucks. And as I was sitting at the drive through it hit me - I forgot to take pictures. People are not going to be happy.

Anyways, we had a nice lunch with Liz and Mike. It turns out that Liz and Marilyn worked for the same company at the same time doing the same thing. But it's a huge company so they didn't know each other. Marilyn did convince Mike to take Liz to stay at the Breakers in Palm Beach.

Mike seems like a really nice guy.

When The waiter split the checks, he initially did it as if Me and Liz were a couple. Hopefully that doesn't interfere with the Palm Beach trip.

QOTD: I usually try and go late morning, depending on when I have calls.

Breakfast - egg sandwich

Snack - protein bar

lunch - salad

dinner - hamburger

have a great day, all!

No Photo's? What the hell! I am so jealous of your meat up. I hope to meet many of you when this damn pandemic is over.
