I?m not a fan of fireworks either. I can appreciate the larger shows but I don?t love them. Our dog Frankie hates fireworks. My grandpa had a dog once who hated them so much he tore a storm door off and climbed into bed with them. I don?t like loud noises either...except for music lol.

I AGREE 100% ABOUT THE FIREWORKS. MY NEIGHBORHOOD IS FILLED WITH IDIOTS.

Not a fan of fireworks at all either. A pretty fountain is one thing, but the ones that shake the whole house is obnoxius. It is supposed to rain on New Years Eve here. I hope it discourages them.

I agree on the fireworks, I had a dog that absolutely hated them especially the whistling ones. I don't do well with loud noises, so I'm hoping it will continue to rain and deter the idiots, but I doubt it.

Good morning all! JB I hear you so much on your post. I feel so much like it's all or nothing for me. One slip adds up to a fall off the cliff. I'm trying really hard to stop that.

Hoping I can get into the retina specialist before Friday. That remains to be seen. Yesterday was a fiasco. You'd think instead of putting you on hold they'd say something about the doctors not being there. NO...we had to drive up there to find out. Grrr.

other than that stuff no real plans for the day. It's supposed to be cool and windy all day then cold and windy tomorrow.

qotd: I'll likely be sleeping...I'll be making some black eyed peas and a ham. I may make some dairy free pudding but I'm not sure on that. I have a gluten free crust I need to use up so we'll see.

food went off the rails a bit last night but stayed gluten and dairy free at least. A lot of the junky food for me is gone. I can't keep things like crackers around...or say GF fig cookies

b: oatmeal and coffee

l: homemade beef stew

d: no idea...maybe an egg

s: popcorn, tea and toast

So I've got to figure some stuff out. I couldn't get in to see my retina specialist until the 8th. I've got two appointments on the 7th and one on the 6th. I've got no insurance after Friday.

I just want to scream. I don't really know what to do.

Good morning, everybody!

I had a reasonably good day food wise yesterday. I'm calling it a transition day. Hopefully, today will be another step in the right direction and can stand on its own as a bona fide actual good day.

I have a work call this morning and possibly another one this afternoon. Other than that I don't have too much planned. It may snow, but I'm not sure how much.

QOTD: Probably swim and cook out on the grill. We won't go out.

Breakfast: Protein bar

Lunch: tenderloin

Dinner: Hello Fresh

Have a great day, all!

Good Morning JB and Menuers,

So My morning started by me breaking the treadmill. After DH woke up he did an analysis and has determined it only needs a belt that he found for 30 bucks on line. As I was heading out the door I saw he had it all tore down and was cleaning and refurbishing it for me. The new belt should be here in 2 days. So it looks like I will be sleeping in the next 2 days unless it miraculously gets nice enough for a morning run but with the wind chill and the snow I may just take the break. Thanks for you suggestion on the I fit by Nordic track. The one I have now is an I fit but it is probably 20 years old. I was surprised he was able to find the part to fix it. I'm not out of the weeds yet though He still has to put it back together so fingers crossed I can get some more use out of this one if not the I fit is going to be mine.

QOTD: Looks like I will be hosting 2 small events that means I will be cooking and cleaning. We're going to have the Babies over Thursday after work for new years eve. I'll make a pot of sauerkraut and Kielbasa and all the fixens and on Friday My DB will cook a pork shoulder with Sauerkraut and I will make all the fixens for that . Mashed potatoes, Lima beans, applesauce and black eyed peas. If anyone has a great black-eyed pea recipe I would love to have it. I make Hoppin Johnny's every year but It is not a family recipe and it is really nothing special. Just know were supposed to eat them on New Years and wear yellow underwear? I heard that is a Columbian tradition for prosperity?

Accountability: I thought I did good but I did have 2 small peanut butter cups and the scale was not nice this morning.

TSS: 3 years 0 Months and 18 day 132.4 (Lowest 129.4)

MS: Premier Apple cinnamon oats Protein shake and berries

L: Eggwhich and snack selects.

D: Chili

Exercise: 24 minutes of Treadmill. (done)

Water and vitamins: On track. I take a Bariatric Advantage Ultra multi w/iron I use bariatric advantage Calcium chews and my blood work has been great. My B12 has been High so I cut my sublingual to every 3rd or 4th day. And I have now added 500mg of Magnesium

Everybody have a Great day.

Brightest Blessing

Chrissy
