Morning all! Hope everyone had a fun end to 2020 yesterday! Our day was super chill. I worked, and in the evening we watched a few silly old movies and went to bed well before midnight. Nothing special but I don't feel like I missed anything. I never mind having a quiet night a home :)

QOTD: What is on your 2021 Bucket List? I really just want to take a few epic vacations! I feel like I should also set some sort of exercise goal to work towards that I could celebrate, like a 1/2 marathon or something... I haven't settled on what that will be yet, though, since I have been so resistant to exercising lately.

Accountability was meh yesterday...Grim ordered Chinese food, and while I did not order anything for myself (yay!)... I stole a couple of his chicken fingers, which added a lot more calories to my day then planned. I ended the day at just over 1200 calories, which wasn't a total disaster but its a lot higher than I have been all week.

Happy New Year! I was in bed by 9:30 but didn't sleep much so I will be dragging when putting away Christmas stuff.

QOTD: I hope I can make my usual annual Aruba trip which obviously didn't happen in 2020. I also want to go to the Seattle area to see my brother who lost his wife shortly after I lost DH. Other trips on the agenda for the next couple of years are taking DD to Ireland and going with SILs to Italy. And just living life somewhat normally in between.

Good 2021 everyone! Yay for that!

Not much planned for the day. Putting up some Christmas stuff as we got the tree put up last night and the chairs are back in their usual positions! I am glad to get that done. I will be glad to get it all put up. I'm over it.

qotd: my only hope is to get **** done and onto a better path.

food is kind of unplanned. Going to make a ham and some black eyed peas in the instant pot. Breakfast was oatmeal.

my wish for all of us this year is a year filled with love and patience.

Happy New Year everyone!

This morning the New Year's Gang is meeting via Zoom. This same group of people has gotten together for probably ten years on New Year's Day morning for brunch - and a few of us stayed until late in the afternoon chatting, drinking, and watching football. But last year both the woman who hosts it - and her BFF who helps her cook - moved (one to Minnesota, the other to Florida), and the group was lamenting about its end via email a week or so ago - until it was suggested that we have it over Zoom this year (although probably not for the whole day!). So...that's what we're doing! I'm so excited that we're able to continue the tradition! So that's what's on tap for today. Since it's supposed to snow starting late this afternoon, I doubt I'll do much more - other than get some exercise!

Accountability was good yesterday until I split the last piece (and it was a big piece) of cheesecake last night with DH, so I was back up over my range again. Weight was the same this morning, so I'm 1.4 lbs over my "oh crap" level. But at least the damn cheesecake is finally gone. It should be a lot easier to stay on the straight and narrow now that the holiday goodies are all gone.

QOTD: We rescheduled our May 2020 trip to the Amalfi Coast to October 2021, so I hope we'll be able to go. I would imagine we'll need a vaccine certificate to travel abroad, so I hope things will stay on the predicted timeline with the vaccine so we can have it this summer. I'm feeling more optimistic since Biden will be at the helm since I know he really wants to get this thing out. Fingers crossed. The company we booked the apartment and all other ground-related things (like airport transfers) will let us rebook at any time without penalty, but the last time I checked, we have to use the airline vouchers before the end of 2021 - so October would be the best time to do it. Late enough that HOPEFULLY this pandemic will be mostly over (and hopefully we can be vaccinated before we go), but the weather should still be OK.

TSS: 5y6m

B: plain Greek yogurt with cranberry/cherry compote, coffee with half & half

MS: Fit Frappe

L: turkey chili

AS: two graham crackers with pumpkin hummus, maybe some fruit or a L&F yogurt

D: cauliflower-crusted pizza

ex: strength-training for sure - and maybe a cardio class, too (youtube videos)

have a great day, everyone!!

Just had to stop and wish everyone a happy new year. I am not making a menu or exercising today. I'm going to get back at this tomorrow. I am enjoying my coffee and staying in my PJ's before I start cooking dinner.
Not posting my weight till Monday and I get back to a routine. No exercise 4 3 days you can imagine. However DH fixed the treadmill so I got that going.
QOTD: I want to make it through the pandemic Covid free!!! And I want to maintain my weight and exercise progress. If I loose a few more I won't be mad. I would love to have a meet up with all of you. And last but not least I want to not do anything to **** off my boss and get fired. Oh and I'd love to see DH get relief from his pain.
I spent last night with my 2 new favorite humans. Hope you have a wonderful day.
Brightest Blessings

Chrissy
