So difficult to try to do this instead of JB! She is so innovative!

I am back in my place having left Mike's early yesterday afternoon. Interesting that after a great long weekend with him I find myself missing him terribly, much more than I did when I went home for Christmas after being with him for essentially 2 solid months.

SO, for those wondering about Covid vaccines. I had Covid, but yes I need to be vaccinated. This is the official CDC wording (from their FAQ page): "COVID-19 vaccination should be offered to you regardless of whether you already had COVID-19 infection. You should not be required to have an antibody test before you are vaccinated. However, anyone currently infected with COVID-19 should wait to get vaccinated until after their illness has resolved and after they have met the criteria to discontinue isolation. Additionally, current evidence suggests that reinfection with the virus that causes COVID-19 is uncommon in the 90 days after initial infection. Therefore, people with a recent infection may delay vaccination until the end of that 90-day period if desired." One key phrase here is "may delay". I would be willing to delay except I am afraid that by the time I am at 90 days (end of February), the vaccination process will have opened up to people under 65 and I will be competing with even more people than now. So I am trying to get it now though not overly worried if it takes a few weeks. However, I feel pretty strongly that the current process is seriously flawed in Florida and many other states in that it is truly a competition with the winner being the person most computer adept with fast typing skills. Which eliminates a large portion of people over 65 from getting it quickly. A pre-registration process used to assign a "priority" number based on age and other criteria with appointments provided in order of priority would make more sense to me, though I am sure there are other ways to do it that would work better than the current process.

Today's rant is over!

QOTD: What's the biggest vehicle you've driven? I drove one of those old, big boats in the mid-70's, a Gran Torino. Other than that only mini vans for 20 years while my kids were growing up. I even get smaller SUVs now. Of course I am pretty short (5'3"), so I probably wouldn't be able to reach the pedals on a larger car (LOL).

Good Morning,

So far this week has sucked (I know it's only Tuesday) Yesterday I was forced to do OT at work. I told them early on in the day I was unable to stay late last night. Of course 5:30 rolls around and they put another patient on the table in the lab next door. I didn't get out of work till almost 7, which caused me to miss my psych appointment.. which to be honest I really needed. I find myself struggling some days with the new changes my body is going through. More then I thought I would. I'm glad I'm off today. I need to take some more time to simmer down.

The last two days I've had such intense nausea.. I vomited Sunday, but was lucky enough to keep everything down yesterday. I've also been ultra dizzy (even from bending down).. I don't know how long to let it go on before I enquire with my PHP.

QOTD: I learned to drive in a minivan. I will never drive a minivan again. I hated that thing.

B: 42g potatoes, 60g egg whites, 15g light cheddar

S: fairlife latte

S: 125g skyr, 15g PB, 50g berries, 5g bran buds

D: .75oz chicken breast, 10g light cheese, 1/2 small tortilla

S: unsure if needed.

if the nausea continues, let your clinic know. You're also still in the window for a stricture, too (they almost always occur 1-3 months after surgery). If that's what it is, you'll want it taken care of. If you're mostly nauseated after eating, a stricture is definitely a possibility...

I'm sorry you haven't been feeling well. Do the best you can to get your fluids in. A thought about your dizziness, have you checked your BP? I still struggle with low BP sometimes especially if I bend over or squat for too long. I know some have passed out from it and more times than I can count I thought I was going to.

I hated the minivans I drove for 20 years but they were really handy with kids!

Also please whatever you do Hydrate. No matter how nauseous you are keep putting in the liquids. Your dizziness could be from dehydration.

I deleted my post liz we were posting at the same time. My meme was about the scale staying the same and not moving which is what is happening despite my lowered calories.

QOTD; my husbands truck and carrying the trailer, which I dented the truck when I jackknifed the trailer a bit turning. My DH can drive ANYTHING and has a cdl. so I let him do that and I help navigate with maps on the phone.

Scale is not moving up and not moving down so i'm expecting a decrease really soon. I'm 2.4 down from last year's weight so the covid pounds are gone! thats 12 of those pounds since mid sept, just looked on my app. yippie!!

food plan:

B: coffee with non dairy creamer

oatmeal and egg whites (need a change)

b2: apple/cheese stick

l: chicken meal I prepped up

s: ?

d: unsure probably pork chop/veggies

s: unsure yet

Yesterday calories were about 1,000
