What's on your Tuesday menu?

that's me to a T this morning! Could be way worse though. Wish me luck today!

They did get my pain pill thing fixed and I was able to pick it up yesterday. The lady, and I use that term lightly, was very rude and mumbling. So much so the actual pharmacist apologized when explaining how to take the med. There was a computer glitch so I get the frustration but geez.

QOTD: How do you like your caffeine? Coffee, tea? do you even drink caffeine? If not what's your go to drink.

I drink coffee in the mornings...usually max out at 2 cups. I do drink some teas but they are usually herbal.

Will likely have some kind of food when I get home from surgery but no idea what.

QOTD: Coffee absolutely. I was up to 4 cups at one point but am back to 3. But they are Keurig cups so I don't think they are too strong. I drank Mike's coffee while in Siesta Key and it was like sludge. It actually gave me a stomachache. He says he has 2 cups, but it is more like 4. I don't like tea and don't drink soda so my only caffeine source is coffee.

Accountability was much better yesterday. Hoping today will be much of the same.

QOTD: I pretty much drink coffee all day, although now I've cut down to 2-4 cups per day. I've also cut out cream in my coffee and just drink it black with Splenda now. I do drink tea from time to time, but am more of a coffee drinker.

B: coffee & protein shake

L: tuna, laughing cow cheese wedge & a pickle

Food plan today- We are in TN this week so had to buy groceries here and there was pizza toppings the last two nights which ended up causing stomach upset because of the fat. it was good at the time... good news is i'm not gaining, bad news- not losing...

QOTD - I drink three cups of black coffee every single morning. Then water the rest of the day. I also drink lot and lots of herbal teas. I love herbal teas. I have way too many, everything from nettle tea to chamomile, and everything in between.

Breakfast - fasting so hot black coffee and water

Lunch - vegan pizza, homemade on baguette

Snack - mint chocolate smoothie

Snack - mandarin, apple with peanut butter and pepitas

dinner - up in the air, but thinking a repeat of my beautiful Buddha bowl from yesterday

Mornin' All!

I have class this morning, and my mother wants me to take her to the hair place this afternoon. She doesn't really like driving anymore, so she's always happy when one of us volunteers to take her somewhere. Only clients are allowed in there now (unless they're from the same house), and she's getting a perm, so I guess I'll run some errands while she's getting her hair done. I also have a few little things that I really need to get done today.

you guys - I totally forgot to take my vitamins yesterday - both morning and afternoon (I did take my iron, which I take before I go to bed). I have never forgotten to take my vitamins! I have no idea what was up with that!! I'm sure missing them for one day is fine, but....seriously?? I hope this never becomes a pattern!

QOTD: coffee for sure. I drink two big mugs of it every morning, which is probably equivalent to 3-4 regular cups. I do like tea, but I rarely drink it. I was trying to drink more of it this past winter, esp herbal tea at night since it's hot and uncaffeinated, but I still didn't drink it very often - maybe once a week or so.

B: plain Greek yogurt with apple/cranberry compote, coffee with half & half

MS: protein shake with fresh cantaloupe (I had this yesterday, too - it was so great I may go buy some more cantaloupe today!)

L: homemade crab cake with homemade tartar sauce and 1 serving of "Sweet Kale" salad

AS: I'll be out - so I'll take a protein bar with me in case it's needed

D: either a teriyaki salmon filet or a Costco chicken skewer with ranch yogurt dip, small sweet potato

ex: I need to do weights sometime today. May do a half hour of cardio as well

QOTD: I love coffee. I limit myself to two cups per day, in a latte. I make one cup of coffee or espresso and top it with 125ml of steamed fairlife milk. If I'm working early it's one cup coffee to 250ml milk. I also love iced herbal tea. Unsweetened.. the season is coming!

B: fairlife latte

S: egg, 1/2 Greek yogurt bagel & 1/2 slice havarti cheese

l: 1/2 Small flour tortilla, 1oz chicken, 7.5g cheese

S: 120g skyr, 15g pb, 40g blueberries

D: Costco chicken skewer, 1/2c broccoli

S: protein bar

Good Morning Melody and Menuers,

Good luck with your surgery today. DH has been healing well with his. Hope you have the same outcome. He will not be able to fully activate it till after the staples are out on the 9th. We won't know if it is really helping till then. He got the Abbot brand stimulator implanted and he chose the one with the longer battery life.

So Mom is in getting her second vaccine as we speak. Just glad that is over and I do not have to worry about that any more. My brother was supposed to take her but he pulled a muscle in his back last week and work and he is in a bad way. So I enlisted the help of a friend to drive her into the city and get her in there. I made DH go in for moral support and he has kept me updated. I will make a Strawberry Cheesecake and send as a thank you for helping me out. I also plan to make a lemon one for our Easter dinner that is moms favorite she is a big fan of lemon.

QOTD: I drink 2 14oz cups of coffee everyday. It must be very dark roast so I can taste the coffee over the creamer. I don't like when the creamer over takes the taste of coffee.

Accountability: I did good. just one bite of oatmeal cream pie (like a Llittle Debbie but pumped up).

TSS: 3 years 3 Months and 19 days 133 (Lowest 129.4)

Exercise: 3.5 Mile run. Maybe I didn't do it yet didn't feel like getting out of bed. It was 34° and supposed to get to 72° so I was hoping to do this after work.

Water and vitamins: On track. I take a Bariatric Advantage Ultra multi w/iron I use bariatric advantage Calcium chews and 500mg of Magnesium. I started a sublingual B12 3x a week
