Yay for a hair refresher (mine was on Saturday)! Sorry your mom will lose some of her social interaction, would she be able to do something like a walking group? Maybe see what some of the other regulars from her current classes are going to do since the place is closing.

Well we are both vaccinated now so I am thinking of taking her to Planet Fitness 2x a week with me after work. Now just talking her into it that will be another hurdle for me to jump.

Good morning, everybody!

The fish tacos were a success. I think that I will have some leftovers today. The margaritas were fine. I couldn't really taste the difference between the lemon and the lime versions. But being able to sit out on the porch again was wonderful.

It's supposed to get cooler again today, but then be back in the 80's for Saturday (Derby Day).

My son got his ACT scores back yesterday. Everybody was pleased with the results, so I don't think that he will need to retake them, unless it is for a scholarship or something like that. He is supposed to get his SAT scores next week.

It's still early (especially in COVID world), but it sounds like he is interested in University of Washington, in Seattle. Our tentative plan is for the younger and Marilyn to accompany me and my older son to Seattle on our Alaska trip in August, so that they can see the school.

LOL that's the way to think BIG. I thought my Costco answer would cover almost everything but I may only be able to get a kayak so we'll all just party on your boat.

Glad to hear your son did well on his ACT test. We have yet to get a solid answer on when Em is supposed to take hers.

Does California do both? On the East Coast it was just SAT. I think that if she wants to apply for early admissions, she should take them fairly soon.

I believe you're right and it'll just be SAT. We have been talking recently and she might do community college for her GE while she decides which part of law she wants to pursue.
