Good morning, everybody!

I am going to the dentist this morning to get the cap placed on my implant. This has been a bit of an ordeal. I broke the tooth on a piece of food late last February and thought, "no problem I have a dentist appointment on March 17th". Well, then COVID came and the dentist closed.

So i just figured that I would wait it out. Until I got a bubble. So then we had to self-photograph the tooth and bubble and go into a stealth appointment. No hygienists or receptionists, dentist in jeans letting me in the building himself. Well he X-Rayed it and made a referral to the surgeon.

I got it pulled last April. It hurt for a day or so. After a couple of follow-on appointments, I scheduled the implant for mid-September. Well, JB warned me that implants aren't the cakewalks that people make them out to be.

Sure enough, I was golfing the day after the implant and couldn't stay warm. I went home huddled under blankets shivering and achy. Had to be COVID right? Nope, after weeks of sickness, I found out that it was Bactremia. At this point, I decided that I wasn't doing anything until after winter. Two weeks ago I had the cap measured and today they put it on.

The jerkies are coming today, so I can restart CAMAW.

QOTD: I guess that I would want it ground into some sort of a meal. But its not likely to be appearing on my menu thread any time soon.

Breakfast: omlette

Lunch: steak

Dinner: TBD

Thanks. I'm home now. They feel just a little tight from slight movements over the months, but no pain and the bite feels normal.

Good morning! Rough day at work and besides pulling some hair out, I went home to two happy guys making Old Fashioned's. So I had one. A large one if I am being totally honest. But hey, no carbs in there I discovered, so I have that going for me. Today is going to be hard as I wrap up this 300 line quote (that has to be extrapolated out to ten years of potential buys with freight to 12 locations...these are your government dollars at work, folks). Nobody can provide this type of info accurately, especially with as volatile all the markets are. Imagine trying to estimate what the price of gas will be in 10 years, not to mention service rates, raw material increases -- and they aren't even telling us how many at a time. Just -- we may order 332 each over the next two years. It's madness. But I have to be on the ground floor of this bid to be able to quote on projects that will actually be moved on. So, yeah. That's my day. I have to turn it over to the loading team tomorrow, so this will be the last hard day. Sorry. Really blabbed on about that subject.

I did well on food, except I added a Hershey's miniature chocolate at the end of my day. I'm blaming the old fashioned. So I ended my day 1245 calories, 76 grams of protein and 32 grams of carbs. Back in the saddle today.

QoTD: just no.

Menu:

B: hb egg, 1/4 cottage cheese

L: 3 oz chicken thigh, 1 oz feta

D: 4 oz pork pastor, 1 oz sharp cheddar, 1 egglife wrap

S: 1 oz beef jerky, 1/2 serving Parm Whisps

That's 769 calories, 92 grams of protein, 10 carbs. I'm committed to nailing this today!

I am surprised Bourbon does not have carbs. Also that is a crazy bid. 10 years out with shipping. No way would my boss let me get tied into something like that. Also I just want to tell you if you like the Hershey miniatures (and who doesn't) I found Sugar free Reese's Cups at Walmart and I know for sure you can buy them on Hershey's website.

JB - I can relate to that meme with all my heart. Garlic bread? Yum!!!

Is this a sign of me being a bad wife if I'm giddy DH is going on a 3 day guys camping trip? Now that things are opening up, he and his running buddies have decided to do a hike/camp trip. My reaction? By all means hon, go, have fun. Why is it only 3 days? You sure you guys don't wanna stretch it to a whole week?

QOTD: a huge fat no for me. I can hear them crunching and it gives me the heebie jeebies.
