Good morning, everybody!

My youngest did go down to the deli and got the job application. He has to fill it out today and drop it back off. Fortunately, he knows somebody who works there and hopefully they will put in a good word for him.

My older son is going to test drive a truck on Saturday. We are trying to figure out the best strategy for who should accompany him. Since they will try and sell him after the test drive, I kind of think that only one of us should go so that the other can say, "well we have to run it by Dad.."

My daughter had her second vaccination on Saturday, so now all of us are fully vaccinated. She said it was kind of rough getting through the first 24 hours but she is fine now.

QOTD: I am going to say Moose. It's been many years since I have seen one though.

I was fishing a couple of weeks ago when a snake came across the pond on the top of the water. The northern water snake and the water moccasin (cottonmouth) have the same markings, but supposedly there are no cottonmouths this far north in Illinois and you can tell by examining the shape of their heads. Well, I took off as soon as I saw it and was certainly not going to get close enough to compare head shapes.

Breakfast: protein bar

Lunch: omlette

Dinner: Hello Fresh

Have a great day, all!

Woodland creatures are a solid no for me. There are no favorites. I do love ground deer ?

i got up the nerve to weigh myself. It was bad but not horrible.

after an 8 month covid recovery, 3

months with almost zero right arm/shoulder

mobility I'm up 20 pounds. I've realized i need to get out of my fat

mindset. It used to be i would be up 5-10 pounds and it was nothing. Eh. Now 5-10 pounds and my clothes don't fit!!

im focused!!! joining a water walking pool in my town next week. My shoulder can handle that.

today:

coffee 1/4 of fairlife

diet Coke

im Not sure because i went to a different campus for work and i don't have my shakes

Good morning everyone,

You enjoy that staycation JB... sooo deserved!

Last night was a training session at the gym followed by a 40 minute walk with my daughter. I showered, had a bite, and then chilled to watch the semi-final series of Montreal Canadians vs Vegas Golden Knights. The Habs started off strong but were just not able to get enough pucks past Fleury. I'm a Toronto Maples Leafs fan anyway but as a Canadian was cheering for Montreal in this match-up. More games to come so we shall see.

QOTD: I'd have to say the Canada Lynx. We don't have them in our area but my brother took a picture of one when he was snowmobiling further north. They look like an overgrown fluffy cat with tufted ears.

B - protein shake

L - chicken breast, roasted cauliflower

S - turkey pepperette

D - Optifast

S - a few local strawberries - YUM

Lots of water.

Viva Las Vegas! Knight fan right here. Your goalie made a stunning block last night. Kudos on that.

I just looked it up, too. You're right - so fluffy!!! (the lynx, that is - not the hockey goalie!)
