When I took my assignment in Latin America,

I started in the middle Of the World Cup thing. Imagine my confusion when people were Scheduling meetings around the football schedule.

Good morning - So sorry to hear about mom, I hope she is okay all goes well. OMG - Your craft room is to die for! You are going to have so much fun and be so organized. That island is the coolest.

QOTD - I'm usually optimistic but when my pessimism comes out and I go to worst case or what if, I don't stay there - I always turn it around. I do have anxiety but sometimes I am more comfortable exploring all the options and facts - the good, bad and ugly. It's my process I guess.

Today is supposed to be 100 degrees so I am skipping my lunch walk. I want to get back to the gym, I don't know what my hang up is.

Yesterday I found out for sure that my position is being converted from a Supervisor to Management next month - so a promotion, raise and better benefits! Woohoo! Very happy about this! Starting next week I will be full time at the office again. It's actually a good thing - I get more done and it will help me stay on track easier. I need structure and schedules!

Congratulations on the promotion. Unrelated, but what do you think of Cal Poly? My son is interested in Bio Chem.

It's a great school, beautiful area! I know tons of alum - family, my boss/co-workers and friends. but didn't attend myself. Sheila toured with her son a couple of years ago. She would have better info as far as that experience went.

Great school for science related subjects.
Hard to change subject if you end up not liking what you have signed up for.
Great area. Close to SLO, which is a beautiful little town.
Great beautiful campus. Gorgeous modern dorms.
I was hoping DS would choose Cal Poly but he wanted the farthest from us.
Doesn't sound like your son is into Greek life but DH has friends who went to Cal Poly and are still friends with their frat boys. Cal poly is big with Greek life.
Half of the kids graduating from the high schools in our area end up at Cal poly; very popular because it's sorta close by, but far enough for the kids to feel independent.
