Hi All! I am back, for good, (I hope). But things are a little wild right now, so bear with me! I have updates!

So since last we met, my life has turned upside down. My boss went into labor early and they asked me to take over right away. I wanted to put them off to see if I would get offered the other job (the one that is close to home with work-life balance) but they were taking too long, so I accepted the promotion at my current job. Two days later I found out that I didn't get the other job (insiders I know say they are keeping it unfilled!!!!), so I guess I did the right thing.

But OOOOOOF my new job is a lot! It's basically four jobs, because I was already doing 2 (mine and my assistant's while she is out on maternity) and my boss was also doing 2 jobs (her's and covering for a manager who quit last month) sooooo yeah I am stupid-busy right now. I'm currently having tons of regrets, but I think it might pass when we slow down in a month?

Remember when I was really nauseous about 2 weeks ago and I lost 2lbs? Its sooo weird but I never got my appetite back. I don't feel ill or anything but I am just not hungry. I don't know what that bug was, but it seems to have done something to alter my gut bacteria or something. I am not complaining! I kept the 2lbs off and lost another one over the last 2 weeks. Not earth shattering to lose 3 pounds in 3 weeks, but it's nice when it feels steady.

QOTD: What are you binging right now (can be tv, books, podcasts, food--whatever!)? I'm basically just binging work right now, so nothing fun for me. But I am very excited to start that new Steve Martin show on Netflix about true crime podcast fans solving a crime in their building. Its right up my ally and I have heard its great!

Glad to hear things seem to have worked out on the job end. Not having an appetite isn't a bad thing at times.

QOTD: Finished up Lucifer and started The Shannara Chronicles on Netflix. For some reason I thought the Steve Martin show was on Hulu? The Only murders in the building right?

Work should be fun this week as our purchasing person is on vacation. Thankfully it's a short week.

Good mornin JB and everyone! It's so good to have you back! Yikes at the busyness but it sounds like you made the right choice. Hoping it gets less stressful after this busy period.

Yesterday went south food wise. M&Ms we're had...and to much cheese. Picking myself up today and dusting off yet again.

It was a weird night...lost of weird dreams and my head was REALLY swimmy feeling...still kind of is. No big plans for the day...my mom wants to go to the thrift store.

qotd: nothing really at the moment. Not a big tv watcher.

B: JUST egg, cheese, chicken sausage and coffee

L: I'm thinking either a PP shake or a chicken breast

D: ???

S: L&F yogurt, jerky and maybe small serving of popcorn

Sometimes life is like sunshine and rainbows ... other times it's a big steaming pile of . . .well you know what.

Good morning QJB and menu group!

There's so much work to do this week; it's going to be crazy but at least there's only 4 days at least!

QOTD - I binged the entire season of The Lady Vanishes podcast, the core ones at least. They also do a ton of side conversations and I skipped those. It's an Australian podcast about a woman that went missing in the 90s -- hard to tell if she disappeared by choice or not. Very fascinating and a still ongoing case. I have watched all the episodes of Only Murders In The Building, it's fun.

Menu today is

Coffee plus half and half

Cottage cheese and 2 tbs PB

2 oz gouda

4 oz taco meat, .5 oz cheese

L&F greek

exercise will be rowing plus a round of reverse planks, planks, and oblique work that my trainer has assigned me this week.

Good Morning!

Today begins an 11 day stretch between my two jobs - it's going to be a long one that's for sure! I've been prepping to make eating the least of my worries and I'm so thankful that I'm cool with eating the same thing for a few days at a time.. so my menu will likely be very boring going forward..

QOTD: been reading a lot in my spare time. I can't remember what the title of the book I'm reading currently is.

b: fairlife latte

s: 175g plain yogurt, 1/2tsp honey, 50g blueberries and 25g granola

l: 50g lettuce, 15g light cheddar, 3oz ground turkey, 20g yogurt and 20g salsa

s: 1/2 English muffin w 1/2tbsp PB and 25g banana

d: 2oz chicken breast, 1/4c zucchini, 1/4c broccoli, 3 cherry tomatoes, 50g sweet potato

e: 50 minute class (power x agility tonight)

Hbo max has a ton of options and their catalog is deep, if I were picking one streaming I would pick it or netflix just due to the depth of options as well As their being pretty good about adding new regularly.

That's good to know! I can get a year of HBO max

for $75 so I'm leaning that way. We just canceled Netflix because it just has t held interest to us
