What's on your Wednesday Menu, RNY-ers?

Happy HumpDay everyone! QJB let me know she wouldn't be able to start us today so I am getting us started.

I have a 6 am meeting, then I need to go into the office for to take care of a few things and then I've got a late afternoon appt on the other side of town. The highlight of my crossing half of the state will be meeting.a friend for lunch by the office, I'm looking forward to it!

QOTD - are you dressing up for halloween, if so, what is your costume? I love having so many more options to dress up now so I've really taken advantage of that! This year I an going to be a penguin; the fun part is that we have a girls brunch that morning and I'm reasonably sure they are not expecting me to come in costume and I absolutely am.

I am enjoying this morning's meme while I sip my coffee with SF pumpkin spice caramel syrup...no pumpkins were harmed in the making of my coffee! (and to be fair, not in Starbucks either). There used to be a great coffee shop in boulder that would make pumpkin lattes using real pumpkin, it was yummy but always interesting to see the pumpkin left in the mug after. This was in the 90s, so it was ahead of it's time....they also made their own recipe chai and it was so good that I try to recreate it but can't quite get it right.

menu today will be

coffee plus half and half X3

Skyr or a protein bar

lunch is Thai so Tom Kha Chicken soup and either dumplings or spring rolls

chicken green chile

With all the running hither and thither, I will probably give myself an exercise rest day but will do my PT exercises and I'm also doing a meditation challenge with my iFIT so I'll do one of those.

QOTD: nope. Halloween isn't my thing.

Right?! I mean I did get a text this morning asking if I was available to work.. I simply replied 'no thanks, have a nice day' .. Joys of a HCW!

45 days until vacation.. a whole 10 days off. I have never loved myself more for making it happen!

Well it's 6:45 and I need a nap. Badly . I would've stayed home, but I never do that-ever.

QOTD: no i won't. I just don't spend money on "extras".

I am not sure what I'll eat today. I ate something that didn't agree with me last night. I went to bed feeling nauseous and still not feeling great this morning. Didn't even bring coffee. Maybe nothing if this keeps up

Good Morning! Thanks for starting the thread this morning. Yesterday was so busy but things are ready for payroll so that's a win.

QOTD: I haven't decided yet. If I dress up for work I'll do something easy.

I was disappointed Halloween is on tbr weekend, thinking I might have to dress uo for a zoom or two on the Friday:-)
