Good Morning! Happy Fri-yay for sure, yesterday was the most Friday feeling Thursday I have had in a long time. JB- I can't believe the size of that tree, I can't even imagine how crazy that storm was. Those fur babies sure are cute.
I'm getting my iron infusion tomorrow morning and then Em wants to do some dress shopping for formal (the plan is to go with a group of friends). I can't remember if I mentioned last week that she was auditioning for a part in the Spring all student body play- anyhow she was cast! This is in addition to the theater(class) play she's currently rehearsing for that's in December. Oh and I can spill the beans, we have a Starbucks barista in the house (see what I did there?!?, coffee beans!) she's officially turning in her notice to Red Lobster tomorrow so it'll be a few weeks before she starts. Big week for my senior!!
QOTD: We have Alexa, google home devices-I can't remember what they are called right now, garage door opener, thermostat, and a few lights.

Kelly, what makes Starbucks better for a kid's job? I would like for my son to work this summer so that he gets out of the house and interacts with people and we've been thinking about where he should apply.

Well, she either wanted Starbucks or Trader Joe's when she was first looking for a job but she got the job at Red Lobster pretty fast. She has a few friends who have worked at Starbucks who all have said it's a good place to work and she likes that they have some college tuition options.

Everyone has such cute pets. I miss having a dog. My mobility situation and my apartment building doesn't allow for a pet.
Today, I have an appointment with an orthopedic surgeon. I am going back to a surgeon that I saw for a second opinion three years ago. My regular orthopedic surgeon has been giving me such an issue using my insurance every visit. Now, with losing weight and the surgery in sight for next year, I can only imagine having them deny the surgery due to not accepting the insurance. I figure I'll establish a relationship with the new Orthopedic surgeon.

Good morning, today is our 5th wedding anniversary! Here's my favorite wedding picture in celebration (PS. how has OH still not changed how clunky it is to add photos?).
QOTD: We're of the House of Google. We literally have Google speakers in every room of the house except the bathrooms. Now if I have to use a SWITCH to turn on a light, I get mad. We use them for the lights, the thermostat, for recording Busy's dirty diapers, etc. I loooooove them to tell the truth.
My sister and I, despite moving to the suburbs, have continued to make the pilgrimage into the city to get our haircut for years because we loooove our stylist. During the pandemic we started having her come out to us and cut our hair in my backyard and I don't think I ever want to go back to the salon LOL - it is so nice to just have her come to us. This evening she's coming to cut our hair and we're celebrating my anniversary and my niece's birthday. This means my plan is a bit... up in the air for the evening - but I'll take it one choice at a time!
8:30 - coffee and egg bites
11:30 - yogurt with chia seeds, carrots
2:30 - protein shake, apple
6 & 8:30 - we're ordering Panera and I have a vegan cupcake to share with Busy
