Good Morning Queen JB and Menuers,
Well glad it is a kinda short week. I'll be off Thursday(that's a joke because I will be cooking and cleaning the whole time.) And Friday I will leave here at Noon to head to get a Mammogram. I do this every year on black Friday since the office closes early and I do not have to take time off work to get it done. After that I'll head home to take down fall and throw up Christmas.
QOTD: I have a recliner that I am partial too. But I am most comfortable in the kitchn cooking something
Accountability: We ate out Saturday and I guess I have just been over eating because the weight keeps going up. I hear around year 4 you do gain around 10% of you weight back and I am praying this is where I am in life. I have a hard time looking at that number on the scale and chalking it up to the nature of the beast.

Good morning ~ Glad to hear you will have a nice long weekend to refresh, JB. I looking forward to the long weekend full of Thanksgiving food, leftovers for days and decorating for Christmas. Bring it! Today it's work, should be a nice mellow day. I love that things slow for holidays around here. This morning I walked/treadmill the streets of NYC - Times Square to Rockefeller Plaza. It was filmed in the evening, during winter w/snow and Christmas lights everywhere. I love hearing the history of the wealthy NY families and how things used to be. Very interesting. Today I'm going to get my car hand washed inside and out on my break. I was not in the mood to do it myself yesterday besides, who am I kidding?
Mr. Tortilla came and the chips reminded me of Quest protein chips but heavier. The tortillas I ]m having today for lunch.
QOTD - The comfiest spot is in the recliner next to the fireplace. I love it!

QOTD- My recliner, I can't tell you how much I missed it when it was in transit.
On Friday I got my booster shot and a flu shot. And I didn't have any side effects yeah! I went for a walk on Saturday hoping I would get in before they hit, just happy it didn't happen.
OK both my teams lost this weekend. With that loss Oregon will be dumped out of the playoff. And the Seahawks are 3-7 it reminds me of the 80's when they were truly awful. The only bright spots for me was Steve Largent and Jim Zorn. Plus I loved the going to the games in the King Dome it used to be cheap, the dome is gone and so are the cheap tickets. But the Chargers did beat the Steelers. I have to see how Justin Herbert is doing, since he was a Duck. I shouldn't let football determine my mood but it's hard to let the losses go... not like I'm obsessed or anything.
I don't want this to sound wrong but I'm not as happy being here as I thought I would be. I still don't know anyone and spend way too much time watching TV. I don't have everything unpacked yet, still need to get the bookcases so I can unpack my books. My office is still a disaster- I had to buy another switch for the monitor so I can use it with both of my computers. I'm stuck in front of this computer all day, I should probably take a break during the day and get out for a walk. I still haven't seen any whales, I know that they are around but I haven't seen them. Maybe I'm just not a happy person, and no matter where I am I won't be happy. I spend my days trying to keep cool, and at home they are trying to stay warm. I gave up so many things to be here and I'm wondering why I did. I'm giving myself a year, and at the end of that I will decide if I want to stay or go back home to the cold and rain.
I need to get out and do something, but it is so much easier to hide.
I need to get back to work.
