G'morning all!

Welcome back Jen! Glad you had a great time. I have a tshirt that says something along those lines of the meme: I don't rise and shine, I caffeinate and hope for the best!

We've had a very interesting arrangement in our house. I imagine this could be an amicable divorce situation. Since Thu when we found out DH has Covid, we have divided the house. Upstairs is mine, half of downstairs is his. I have the master bed and bath, kitchen and living room. He has the office, DS's bedroom and kids' bath. He texts me his food needs, I deliver it to DS's door or office's door, he puts out the dirty dishes; I also feel like the room service in a hotel. During meals we face time so he doesn't feel lonely and we eat our meals together, virtually. He has also figured out how we can sync our laptops and watch a movie together. Anyway we are making it work without being in the same room.

He was very happy to get a call from the kids for Father's Day, even though we didn't do anything else. I caught him sitting alone in the backyard only with Luna's company, and it broke my heart. He is not used to not being able to go out and doing stuff. He tested yesterday and still positive. According to CDC rules, you need to quarantine for 5 days after you test positive and another 5 days of masking (inside and outside).

My meals yesterday :

  • Coffee & barebells bar
  • Kung Pao chicken with spicy cauliflower (we ordered from DH's favorite place - an Asian fusion hole in the wall with very yummy food)
  • Simply lite almond chocolate (2 squares - channeling Kelly ;)
  • Left over kung pao
  • E: Rest day

Happy start of the week!

I'm glad you guys are able to make it work while having to quarantine. The doc told Em to stop testing (she had been testing daily during her isolation period) since she could test positive for over a month. He said base it more on symptoms. Anyhow, stay well my friend.

You are so compassionate. Your family is so lucky to have someone so caring to take care of them.

I dont think you need to retest after the initial positive result. Many people will stay positive despite resolution of symptoms. In the hospital, after a positive result, time and improvement in symptoms meant quarantine could stop.

Good morning ~ Happy to hear you had a great time, Jen. I'm exhausted just thinking about how much you do on the daily! I had a very mellow weekend and I'm off today and tomorrow also. The big plans I had for all these projects around the house have been a pipe dream so far. I'm hoping for progress today. Rob asked me if I wanted to play pickle ball this weekend and I immediately said no. The though of single's pickle ball, running all over the court with all this extra weight? No, thank you. It made me realize that the weight is hindering other things as well. My overall mental health, zapping my energy and motivation. Ugh. Things need to change. TODAY.

B- coffee, eggs and avocado

l- chicken, salad mix, cherry tomatoes, skinny girl chipotle ranch dressing

d- chicken breast, marinara and parm

s - cucumbers, celery, carrots w/ranch seasoning powder

e - Picking back up in the Alps series where I left off - 30+ minute hike

Have a great day!
