Good Morning Queen JB and Menuers,

I love that photo of Fez, He looks like he is being sneaky. So cute. The cookies are exquisite as usual. I am so sad you're not closer I would buy so much.

Well, our new Finacial Advisor has me retiring in 7 years. I think I can handle it for 7 more. The doctor however suggested PT and I said, how they going to do PT if you do not know the problem. I am not going to Willy Nilly this pain. I know my body and I know it hurts so there must be something in there that is pinched or torn. Until I know what it is, I'm not paying for PT that may or may not help. So, we agreed that I will take a steroid for a week and if I get no relief, I'll do an MRI.

No plans except going to church and brunch on Sunday and Mom duty on Saturday. I did 1/2-hour elliptical last evening and hope to do it a couple more times this weekend since it really does not impact my shoulder if I do not use the moving arm holds.

QOTD: I would love to have an exercise room, but DH has so much crap I have nowhere to put it. I would love to half the room where the Fireplace is so that I could have one side for myself.

Accountability: Garlic cheese curds got me about 10:30 last night.

TSS: 5 years 1 month 2 days 159.4 Lowest (129.4)

B: Coffee with Torani SF Salted Caramel syrup

MS: Light and Fit Creme Brulee Greek yogurt and berries

CB: Coffee with Torani SF Salted Caramel syrup.

L: Premier Root Beer Float Protein shake

D: Chicken thighs with Arby's sauce

Exercise: Not yet depending on the plans this evening.

Water and Vitamins: On track. I take a Bariatric Advantage Ultra multi w/iron I use bariatric advantage Calcium chews and 500mg of Magnesium. I also use Miralax and fiber in my first coffee of the day.

Have a great weekend my friends.

Brightest Blessings.

Chrissy

What a bummer that your dr wasn't able to help much. I hope you get some relief from the steroid.

Glad you're able to push back on your doctor for what you need. Hopefully it resolves!

Seven years might seem long or short, depending on the day. Hopefully the latter for you!

What's the 25? Drawing a blank.

Good morning! I've got a mix of busy/easy/fun today ahead of me and I'm looking forward to most of it.

Yesterday I stayed on my plan eating wise, but I have to admit, there is no way the Chipotle cream sauce I made for the shrimp is diet friendly. I did my best to limit the amount I scooped on my plate, and what I did eat was worth every bite. I also got the stairs and another walk done and ended the day with 88 minutes of intentional exercise. So I hope the cream sauce was burned off. My other add was two Hershey kisses, but again, I had plenty of calories left in my day to swing it.

Today we are loading the RV to get ready to go to Ocotillo Wells in the desert of San Diego County tomorrow morning. My kids have a lot of land out there and room for our RV next to their rig. We are going to watch the grands ride their dirt bikes and take out the dune buggies for rides. Rog and I are not "sandies" and don't love the whole environment, but a weekend of being with the kids and grands, cooking together, card games, fire pits, S'mores and wine sounds super fun to me. I'll freeze in the evenings, but the weather is supposed to hit low 70's in the daytime. So loading today means MANY layers of clothing for me and lots of fun food. I've gathered things that are friendly to my tummy and that everyone will also enjoy. Need to start two quiches when I'm done here for breakfast on Sunday. Plus I want to get in a yoga video and take a walk today. Really pushing myself. I'm starting to freak out about being on the road for so long in a few weeks and want to have a real solid core routine established. I should also do some resistance bands and weights. I need to incorporate 15 minutes or so of that a day. I will say that I am actually beginning to think I might be brave enough to wear tank tops this summer if I keep up on my routine. My upper arms are looking so much more toned. Oh, and we have dinner out with old friends this evening. YAY! I love that. We haven't decided where to go, but we could be happy at Burger King with these people. Parts of my heart.

QoTD: We did a total remodel over 4 years ago, so structurally, nothing. But I would love to change out my living room furniture. We have all small spaces and with Roger's single requirement that he gets a "rocking, swiveling recliner and that it's mostly dead center in front of the TV, I am never happy with my furniture selections.

Menu:

B: leftover chicken shawarma and carrots

L: leftover chipotle cream shrimp and refried beans -- don't care about the calories, no way I am wasting this yumminess.

D: TBD!! But yes, there will probably be a couple glasses of wine or an Old Fashioned.

Remember that I've been forced to clean out the unused closet this week? I found a stash of old pants...

What a life. Well, I guess it is only 7 years for me. I like knowing what I have to look forward too. I'm not getting a RV or Florida home I'm just showing up wherever you guys are and hanging out. I'm sure you won't make me sleep on the ground. LOL
