Thank you for your service. It's a pain but for the public good. Sounds like the defendant got to appreciate it a lot, too.

Good afternoon all and Happy Fri-yay
Quickcheck in - Endoscopy this morning went fine and my esophagus looks good. However, there was food in my stomach so the doctor was unable to look farther down. I adhered to the fasting and just had a protein shake my last meal. He said some peoples' stomachs empty more slowly. I may need to do another Endoscopy and be put on a liquid diet before.
Anywho, after my mad dash this week, I got everything done that was time sensitive. The new semester starts Tuesday and everything is in place.
Have a great weekend everyone.

Glad it went as well as it could. I told the technician today I hadn't eaten or had a drink in 12 hours as instructed but she still couldn't see my pancreas. She said the same...sometimes it just happens. Hope it works out for you.
Are you in school?

It's a little comforting to know that it's not the patient's fault & it happens to others. It's just frustrating that while adhering to the pre-op instructions, something still comes up. Yes, I went back to school a couple years ago. This is my last semester.
