Good morning ~ I only vaguely remember cold of that depth - stay safe and warm! My NUT appt went really well yesterday - I love her. She is twice banded, revised to RNY - 13 years out, former alcoholic. She LOVES what she does our appt was supposed to be 30 min but went to 75, staying late to talk to me. She was like an old friend. She talked about the serious studies regarding alcohol DCgirl spoke about with her surgery. She said my PCP was wrong for telling me to stop taking 1200-1500 calcium and to get back on that asap. The malabsorption and leaching can't be measured - or something like that? Tons and tons of stuff but my focus will be dense protein, lift weights, full stop drinking - which I am working on. Anyway I am seeing her again next month. My ribs are feeling a bit better - throat clearing, coughing and sneezing are the worst of it at the moment so I slept really well last night. Today is a half day at work then I have an appt with my gyno to talk hormone options. Anyone with experience feel free to weight in!

QOTD - I go to bed at 8 and I make a lot of old people noise getting up or down, in or out of just about anything.

Accountability - went for a sweet potato vs salad for my dinner side last night - big mistake I was so sick. I used to love sweet potatoes - bu-bye.

B-coffee x 3, pepperoni and pepper jack cheese

l - RGF chicken strips

d - pork chop

s - tomatoes

Have a great day!

Love your photo Amy! It's so true!

The only hormone advice I have is that when I started having hot flashes, I got the yam cream from Amazon that white dove mentioned and it stopped them completely! I've shared that with others and they say the same thing!

This is cream with hormones' - bioidentical but still manufactured hormones. Cream like that helped me for a while, then I developed a complete shut down of hormonal system and I went on all hormones - estrogen, progesterone and testosterone.

I went through menopause when I had complete hysterectomy at 43. I did not want to be on Premarin for life and found out that the progesterone cream took care of the hot flashes. It also relieves cramps in women who are still mensurating.

I was so impressed by it that I started selling it in the beauty shop that I owned. Sometimes there would be a woman *****ally could not afford it and I would give to them as a gift. I could not stand to watch them suffer because of lack of money.

They would buy a 3 month supply and come back looking slimmer, relaxed and rested. Once they realized how much difference it made in their life, they found the money to get more. It used to be about $30 for 3 months.
