That sounds really good. Thanks for the recipe and adjustments. I look forward to trying it out.

Hey all

I have only seen snow once in my life (at a ski-field lol)

QOTD: never really used to be (Dr Google would sometimes worry me) but I've been a complete OTT hypochondriac since surgery, again thanks to exaggeration online. Still working through it but getting better at working through the obsessive moments! My therapist is earning his money!!

Food has been my standard and I added a protein bar that took a while to eat.

Have the best day!

It seems like you are getting much more comfortable. You have made great progress with losing and once you get down to around 250-260 (normal size XL in clothes) you should find that most aspects of your life feel like they are getting easier.

Dr. Google is the worst. Have a stomach ache? You're going to die. A headache? Brain cancer.

You need to experience the feeling when it's snowing. It's beautiful and majestic to experience the snow falling for the first time. I still enjoy the first snow of the year... unless I'm driving.

I don't mind the early ones. And even though I start getting sick of it in January, it's January. It's going to snow. But by March - UGH!! Get that crap out of here and bring on spring!!

Snow is picturesque and beautiful to look at when it first falls before everyone drives and tramples it down or you have to go outside for everyday living!

I worked with a guy who took a temporary assignment in Australia. He lived on a small farm outside of Dallas, Texas and his wife was there taking care of the three young boys and going out in the snow and mud of a Texas winter to attend to the cows and other livestock.

Because of the distance and plane travel, he was on a six month assignment. He told me that he was considering not calling his wife anymore because she did so much complaining. When he told her about the sunshine and beach she would complain about the cold and mud. I told him he might want to consider going home early. It would be nice to never see snow.

Wow, congrats on a protein bar! They made me wait three months for those. Go figure.

Good mornin everyone.

boy our trip to get the oil changed turned into an almost 4 hour event. They tried to talk my mom into taking her car in and blah blah blah. The dealership changed hands and I'm not a fan of it...the new ownership. Just so over it. It made me grumpy and sore

This morning I have two appointments. One with the pain clinic and the next one with my neurosurgeons NP. After that we need to come home and clean the house a tad. Nothing big...just a vacuum and quick bathroom cleaning. Rachel Is spending the night tonight. I'm completely exhausted, every fiber of my being is tired.

QOTD: not particularly. I tend not to be totally honest with the doctors if anything. I always feel like it's not a big deal and blah. If I had listened to my body I would've gotten help for my back years and years ago. It didn't help that THREE medical professionals declared three different things were wrong...everything BUT what was actually wrong with it. I think it boils down to my fight or flight responses.

B: protein pancake, small cereal bar and coffee

L: soup bowl and cheese

D: ?????

S: ?????

Hope your appointments went well.

The last time someone at the dealership aggressively offered to buy my car (wasn't paid off yet) I told him I had just been laid off, which was true. That shut him down pretty immediately. Good in my book since I wasn't in any mood to deal with predatory tactics.
