Julia, stay dry! We have had some crazy storms over the last few weeks too. Just out of nowhere! I messaged my friend Lee yesterday and made a joke about how he's exerting so much force and then asked if I was the 117th person to joke about him being a hurricane. Yep, I sure was.
QOTD: I don't ever remember dreams. Very occasionally, I will wake up only halfway and be in a dreamy sort of state and remember it, but as soon as I am awake, nope, it's gone.
My QOTD: Are they ever gonna catch that escaped felon? And shouldn't he just end it all - he's gonna be recaptured and on lockdown for the next 60 years... (morbid thought, but seriously)
Big excitement here - DH has to go to San Fran for work and yesterday decided to spend the weekend in LA to see his team play Sunday night. Home alone, baby! I can't wait to just be. I am meeting a friend for shopping and lunch on Saturday and painting on Sunday. No one to worry about but MOI. Insert evil laugh.
B: Hard boiled eggs and cottage cheese
L: Leftover impossible meat sauce with some noodles
D: I promised Leah Chipotle. I'll do a chicken bowl!
Have a most wonderful day y'all!

Good morning all and Happy Taco Tuesday,
Thinking of Taco Tuesday just conjured up an old Simpsons' reference. Homer starts singing the Village People's 'Macho Man' while eating a hat made out of nachos. "Nacho, Nacho Man, I want be a nacho man."
I'm starting to look for a new apartment. I've come to the realization that the only thing in my control is moving. Otherwise, I have to practice radical acceptance. I don't want to move and it's going to be difficult to find a place with my limitations, in a decent neighborhood, and in my price range. It will all work out. It always does.
QJB - That's some crazy rain. Do you know anyone who was affected?
Weather phenomenons seem like they're getting more frequent and intense. Anyone else have the same or a different observation? I'm thinking specifically of the rain at Burning Man, floods in general, fires, extreme temperatures, earthquakes in places with dormant plates, etc.
QOTD - I don't remember my dreams anymore but I definitely remember nightmares when I wake up. I call, 'no fair.'
B: Dannon Light and Fit Coconut Yogurt, tangerine.
L: It's a BBQ mystery. I'm picking up a too good to go bag at Smoque BBQ. $5 and it's usually 1/2 pulled pork, at least a side, and a couple cornbreads. The cornbreads get left in my car and distributed to others. That way, I'm not tempted to eat that delicious.
D: Jerk shrimp recipe that I've been meaning to try.

I strongly believe that every one of life's moments has a perfect Simpson's reference to go with it :)
As for the flooding, I know a whole bunch of people from High School who live right in that area so I am sure some were affected but I haven't checked any of my social medias today to see if anyone got hit badly!
