Good mornin everyone! Hope all of you at the conference is having a blast!

Not much going on here today. Just a run to Walmart. AND I'm making chicken birria tacos! Thanks so much to Amy Liz for posting about the beef version! I just had the chicken is the only reason we're not doing beef. I'm just a wee bit excited!

I sat in the car with my mom way to much yesterday and I can feel it today. So sore. The kids were grumpy, or should I say Rachel was lol. Preteens are a blast...

I've been up since around 10:40ish. When I got up I went into the living room and you could hear the meth cooking neighbors yelling at each other at the top of their lungs. This girl is just about as dumb as it gets. She does everything for him, carry's all the groceries, work equipment, takes care of his kids when they have them. In turn he treats her like **** and I'm fairly certain he beats on her too. She is the one also doing the cooking of the drugs. I almost feel bad for her that she is so dumb. Since it makes my mom feel so sick I just hack a lot of sympathy and I shouldn't be that way, I know, it's just infuriating.

QOTD: If you could pick any field to be an expert in what would it be?

I'd say world history! I know a bit of American but would love to know sooooo much of global history.

Good morning ~ I hope you tacos come out great! I imagine they are a labor of love to make. Pics please!! Today is a chill day. Again feeling mentally/emotionally strong but run down physically. I've been to bed around 7:30 the last few nights and slept in until 7am today. Unheard of for me. Otherwise today is walking the dogs, house stuff, football, naps, some DVR and finish my book.

Morning! I am posting for some late morning accountability because after out little party last night we ended up with too much food and I have already grazed on too much this morning. I must stop now.

I am going to have a very chill day. Just a little bit of class prep for tomorrow and that's it!

QOTD: I wish I knew more about just about everything! But I always thought it would be fun to be a real movie buff and know all the trivia and behind the scenes stuff about classic Hollywood.

Good morning! Did you sleep QJB? I got chunks of hours in but Roger was a champion snorer and I was woken up over and over. Think a jury of my peers would convict me? And by peers I mean anyone who has a bed mate that snores like a freight train...

Accountability! I had a half order of steak fries for an afternoon snack yesterday and two glasses of wine last night. I did great on all the other meals. But still...

Today is getting something fun from the grocery store for family dinner tomorrow. Roger wants to smoke something, I'm not a big fan of smoked meat and my new belly has a hard time with it. We'll probably compromise and do two things and I will be sure to get some chicken thighs on the grill too. It's like prep for the week at the same time as making a big dinner. Hmmm, need to think what sides I could do that I could stretch out for the coming week. I've been freezer and pantry diving. Vacation is coming up and I like to reduce down as much as I can.

L: hopefully we will be home where I can behave myself. I'll probably do some more chicken bites and a bit of great cheese I have

D: Hosting neighbors for an evening of apps on the deck. My contributions are a cold taco salad like thing and a plate of figs, goat cheese and pistachios. But I heard a blueberry pie is coming along with hatch chile cornbread, fresh tomatoes, and garlic crisps. And wine. I aim to stop at two.

OMG Lisa. I slept like a champ. This is really becoming a hilarious trend! It is probably your turn to sleep, and since I haven't moved off my butt today, I think I'm setting you up for success!
